Lighten (bleach hair) following the directions on the lightening kit if needed.Shampoo and dry your hair.Protect your hands with rubber gloves and your hairline with petroleum jelly to prevent colour staining. Protect clothing.Empty cream into a bowl and apply to your hair in downward strokes. You may want to use a tint brush. Massage into your hair to ensure even coverage.After 10 minutes, check the colour of a strand by removing excess cream. Some hair may need longer. Leaving cream on longer will not damage your hair but it may increase the staying power of the colour.Rinse with cool water thoroughly until the water runs clear. It's best to rinse hair in a basin or in a way that minimises contact with your face and body. Dry and style as usual.The colour will fade over 5 to 30 washes depending on your hair.
