It comes equipped with specially designed heatpipes that operate at peak efficiency in any orientation, and a new third exhaust vent to help keep the mainboard and panel cool. Anti-Gravity Heat PipesAnti-Gravity heat pipes improve thermal transfer by using capillary structure for the wick, increasing capillary pressure by more than 15%. This allows the Ally’s cooling solution to maintain effectiveness even when upside-down. Slim downThe ROG Ally X is equipped with brand new fans that are thinner than the previous design, leaving more space for air to pass between each blade. The 0.15mm thick fans allowed for the inclusion of the larger 80Wh battery, while still increasing overall airflow by 10%. Cool inside and outWe’ve also redesigned the fan shrouds to divert a small amount of air into the chassis, in between the motherboard and display panel. This air keeps the display cooler to the touch, and exhausts out of a new third vent on the top of the chassis, keeping acoustics low when you’re engrossed in a game. Less dust means more efficient and quiet cooling for years to come. 0.1mm Ultra-Thin FinsThermal energy is dissipated by two heatsinks, each lined with ultra-thin aluminum fins as slim as 0.1mm. Higher density fins allow for increased heat dissipation and lower air resistance for smoother flow. There are up to 102 heatsink fins totaling 12,173mm²of surface area. Lightning Fast.
