Amazing Controller 👏

Great controller, very premium feel and well built. I bought this to use with my Switch 2 and it's better the the Switch Pro Controller in every way. The 8Bitdo ultimate 2 has built-in 6 Axis Moition control, Hall-Effect Triggers and thumbsticks (Can't get stick drift) which just adds to it's longevity and durability. Also has RGB around the sticks and multiple profiles and can use BT & 2.4ghz so can be used on any platform. includes a charging dock as well. Add all of that together and its an amazing value you get for $100. Great product, highly recommended 👌 👍

Great value

$99 for a controller with hall effect is pretty impressive. 2 years on using for both pc and switch have not had any drift issues. And this is with fighting games so it's had it's fair share of wear and tear. Very comfortable and good ergonomics. Feels much better than the ps5 controller I was using for PC gaming. Was easy to take apart and clean out my congealed oils, skin cells, and BBQ shapes dust.

Great for macros

Very Good quality for the price. Macros are great for games like Pokemon ZA. Pc software is needed, but it works well; you can also download macros online.

Can’t remap the buttons

The "remappable" buttons cannot be remapped at all - they can only duplicate the buttons on the controller. SteamOS doesn't pick the controller up properly, so don't bother trying to use it with Steam, and 8Bitdo's software can't/won't allow you to remap the extra buttons to anything other than the basic buttons already on the controller, so they're useless. Also, if you connect the controller to a PC in Bluetooth mode, every time you touch a Mouse & Keyboard or press the home button, it will reset your pairing/profile settings/LED settings - so if you're playing in low light and have the glaring LEDs turned off, they'll turn back on at the brightest setting every single time... it's awesome :). This doesn't happen if you use 2.4 mode to pair it, BUT Steam picks it up even less accurately. I tried reaching out to 8BitDo for support, since the "8BitDo Ultimate 2 WIRELESS" (an identical controller not available in Australia) IS fully supported by Steam, to ask for help getting it picked up by Steam Input or at least remapping the extra buttons to keyboard/mouse, and all they replied with was a friendly email saying this controller is not supported by Steam :). The controller doesn't stand up to Australian consumer guarantees, it's a waste of money. Buy the Ultimate 2 WIRELESS if you're wanting to ACTUALLY remap the buttons, because otherwise it's a well-built controller - but the software (which is horrifically basic), and lack of support make it depressingly worthless. Do not buy.
