The Mediterranean Essences by Atelier des Fleurs explore unknown facets of well-known ingredients from the South of France. The collection draws on the Mediterranean heritage of Gaby Aghion, Chloé's founder, deeply inspired by her seaside escapes in sun-drenched landscapes. True to the House's philosophy, the Chloé fragrances offer a sensual portrait of the Mediterranean, far from postcard clichés, exploring its olfactory imprint and evoking a more intimate South. Emblem of the fashion House, the plissé soleil, delicate pleats crafted in Chloé fabrics, inspire the olfactory profile of the entire Atelier des Fleurs collection.

The Fragrance:

The Mediterranean Essences carry this echo through the presence of rays of light in every creation. With Atelier des Fleurs Vert Soleil Eau de Parfum, perfumer Quentin Bisch highlights lentisque, an ingredient rarely explored in perfumery. This aromatic shrub, typical of Mediterranean garrigues and maquis, flourishes in arid coastal lands. Traditionally valued for its resinous nuances, lentisque takes on a brighter light here, revealing leafy, juicy notes exalted by green mandarin. The union of these two “greens” creates vibrant, zesty radiance. A floral composition with vegetal freshness, warmed by an enveloping base of musk and wood.

The Bottle:

The bottles of the Mediterranean Essences represent the timeless allure and simplicity held dear by Chloé. Their undulating glass shape pays homage to the plissé soleil, the emblem of Atelier des Fleurs fragrances. The warm green color echoes the lush landscapes of the French Mediterranean coast. The textured cap evokes sand and reflects Chloé’s deep connection to the Mediterranean horizon.

How to Use:

For a beautiful long-lasting citrus green woody fragrance, delicately spray on clothing and pulse points: the neck, chest and wrists.
