The size is what drew me to this fruit platter. I was looking for a compact, yet affective shape and size that would fit comfortably on the table and also serve as a fruit bowl on my side table. White was fine but some bold coloured feature, say on the rim, would have attracted me to it earlier. Most kitchens are plain and need a splash of colour. Lemon green and stormy blue works beautifully in white kitchens.
