Very stylish and elegant. High capacity with a super fast boiling time and the spout does NOT dribble!

I bought this kettle yesterday (05 12 25) in white to replace Dad's horrible old plastic kettle that still worked but the plastic was degrading and something rusty fell out of it the other day - enough was enough. I filter my drinking and cooking water so my first priority was to choose a kettle that did not have any unhealthy material/s that came into contact with the water. After much research, this kettle appears to meet that requirement. I also love the large opening and wide soft open and close lid. This kettle boils the water super fast - no need to go and do something else while waiting for it to boil - you blink and it is done. I also like that it is easy to see the fill levels - my Dad has some lost vision due to glaucoma and he told me he was able to see the fill level indicators when I showed him the kettle out of the box. The kettle is a bit heavier than the previous plastic one but not prohibitively so. I told Dad that making his coffee can be his morning weight training LOL (he is 87). I also found that leaving the lid open for a few moments after boiling and emptying any residual steam dissipates quickly resulting in no water marks on the the glass. Given the super fast boil there is absolutely no need for the bell sound at the end of the boil that I find annoying as the bell continues to tinkle if there is any vibration on the bench top or you move/bump the base. I would have preferred a stylish illuminated lever switch with a reassuring click sound instead. If not for the on/off bell switch I would have given this kettle five stars. The glass is hot to the touch after boiling so care is needed but it cools quickly. The kettle is otherwise a very stylish addition to the kitchen and overall I am happy with my purchase.

Bought the crystal luxe kettle and toaster set online and received them on Friday. Today is Sunday and is the third time I use the kettle, the bottom of the kettle changed color and I don’t know if this is normal.

This is a quality made kettle so much so it is a little on the heavy side, it does looks perfect next to my Sea Salt Breville Oracle Jet espresso machine.

Love the smaller kettle that holds the same as my older one. The tiny chime when it has boiled is sweet

I thought it's plastic free, but I was wrong.

I bought this kettle two days ago (black truffle). It looks great, boils water quickly and efficiently, however one major negative is the bell inside the kettle switch. It's supposed to notify you when the kettle has finished boiling by going "ding!" when it flicks off - however it is very, very sensitive to vibrations. Handling the kettle to fill with water or to move it from one surface to another triggers the bell. If you gently shake the kettle, the bell will ding. If you're a fan of Breaking Bad, you can buy this kettle to give you the impression that Hector Salamanca is in the room with you.
