I personally find the colour to look the best with one coat. It looks too bright with two coats and can smudge even 8 hours after you’ve applied 2 coats. I would also recommend applying a thin coat or even one layer could take about 5 hours to be completely smudge proof. It will feel dry to touch but if you press on it hard, it may leave a mark. I’ve attached an image below with one thin coat on my nails.
