Dyson V8 Cyclone

I bought my Dyson V8 Cyclone machine on 30/07/2026. It looked like fully charged as it could not be charged before use. However, after using for few minutes on the first day, on the second day, the battery was dead just after 2-3 minutes. I tried to charge it but it didn't charge as per the charging indicator. As I had registered for the warranty, I contacted Dyson and after explaining things they agreed to send a new battery. After receiving new battery, I tried to charge it but it didn't charge and after using for about 10 minutes, the battery was dead but couldn't charge the new battery. After talking to Dyson, now, they have now dispatched a new charger believing it's a fault of the charger. I am waiting for the new charger and hope it will fix my problem.

I have real jarrah floors, I now have to pay thousands to get them recanted and fixed from this vaccines scratching it so badly, I can’t fix it. I spoke to Dyson about it and they said they’d send me the fluffy head cleaner 10 days ago, somehow that went missing and no one knows where it is or cares really. That sums up Dyson.

Replacing a V7 that died after 4.5 years. Much better suction and run time. Better suits large hard floor area with after market head.

Happy with purchase, the vacuum picks up the dirt very well, it’s not heavy easy to use

I love this cyclone 8 Dyson stick vacuum cleaner. My other one was 10 years old. The on/off button is great rather than the trigger and the various suction speeds is excellent. Very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend

I bought this new Dyson several weeks ago as upgrade on old Dyson which still works but getting too old for parts. Happy so far. Love that you don’t need to hold trigger to make vacuum work. Great run time and great price as on sale. Great suction and easy to use.The only criticism was connecting the charging cable into wall mount….this took some time as it doesn’t seem to click into place very easily, apart from that I’m a Dyson fan and have been for years.

It’s too hard to open to empty. None of the brushes match any of the Dysons I have so I have to buy all new parts.

Great vac, very powerful, battery does run out a bit quicker than i had hoped but works for my small house.

This cleaner has really good suction. I was surprised by how much was lifted from the carpets. It's lightweight and easy to use. Unfortunately we had a defective battery on our brand new appliance, which was a bit disappointing, otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating

Love my V8 Dyson. This my second one. I use it all the time - so easy.

The Dyson V8 I recently purchased has been a really good investment, easy to assemble , easy to dispose of all the waste and it’s a lot quieter than most other vacuums, it does the job and I’m really happy with it.

This is the third Dyson we have had and they all perform exceptionally well

improvement on tge old mosel especially the fact that tiu dont have to constantly hold a trigger

I recently upgraded from a V7 and find it so much easier to use vacuum with on/off switch rather than the trigger. This vacuums head rotation is very smooth and suction is excellent. Overall a really good upgrade.

I was really excited to finally purchase a Dyson, it's a well known and trusted brand from what I had read and heard from others. I made sure it was the one recommended for the flooring I have. Honestly I'm disappointed, it feels like I just paid for the brand name. It spits crumbs backwards, makes a horrible scrapping sounds when used on tiles and the battery life is quite pathetic for the price and hype. I do like the waste removal function though, it's easy and convenient.

My Homecare lady came 2day and she used it - and absolutely loved it. The whole place looks much cleaner! Now she's trying to get one - at the same price, which was also great.

I bought this hand held a month ago and working good.

The V8 is a quiet and powerful machine. I had a V7 before this and somehow the V8 is even better. The on/off is now a switch which is easier than holding the trigger on while I do the whole house. The head also feels more flexible into corners although I never had a problem with the V7, this V8 just feels even better. I have a dog and it's great for picking up the dust and hairs. Well done, Dyson. I'm very impressed and happy.

Battery life is terrible! Suction is good but not happy with short usage time.

This vacuum cleaner damaged my floor. My polished timber floorboards were left badly scratched after using the Dyson V8. It also pulled the edges of a treasured wool floor rug. I returned the product. Do not recommend for polished boards or Persian rugs.

When I received the V8 Turbo I was astonished to find that the battery was NOT the one shown on the site as being supplied as a replacement part. There was no supply of this item past present or future. Likewise the supplied battery was not available with third parties either as an original or as a knock-off! This made the V8 Turbo with a one battery runtime of merely 20 minutes unsuitable for us. We had a brief opportunity to evaluate the performance and it works well. However the hard plastic parts seem vulnerable to drops and knocks. Parts availability is poor. Support did not even suggest they could provide a 2nd battery. They just suggested I send it back! For a stick vac, Dust Ejection, Filtration, Maneuverability, & Suction are all seem to be good. Value and support are way below what should be expected. All full price the valuable is laughable. At a discount of 40%, value is very low.

My second Dyson and I wouldn’t have anything else and now more run time

Love it! It’s lightweight and easy to manoeuvre around the house. The battery life is impressive—it cleaned our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with two living areas on a single charge and still had battery left. The suction is excellent and, in my opinion, much better than previous Dyson cordless vacuums I’ve owned. Very to empty and clean. I’m very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it!

We love all Dyson products just love the new one it does A great job

Bought this a few weeks ago as my elderly Dyson stick vacuum was literally falling apart. Everything about it was an improvement on my former machine (which I loved) - lighter, quieter, runtime and performance generally - love having an on-off switch and choice of three suction programs. I can easily do our three bedroom unit at once. Best of all, the brilliant cleaner head doesn't tangle up with hair (like the previous model) and it's super easy to empty straight into the bin. It is a bargain price and great value and a pleasure to use. Yes there are other models which seem to do more - but I didn't need any of that. Excellent product.

I should have bought Dyson 12 months ago. Went for a cheaper option , serves me right. Spend the money you won’t be disappointed.
