I recommend this for seborrheic dermatitis!

Have been using for 40 years! Calms my chronic (genetic) seborrheic dermatitis down. As it’s a bit drying for the hair, I apply and rub it into the scalp itself only then wait a few minutes, before gently squeezing through the hair and rinsing immediately. It’s very effective when combined with the matching conditioner, Sebi Rinse, which is a concentrated and thick emollient that is brilliant for removing knots with a delicate and pleasing scent.

Worse smell ever - artificial smoke - VERY strong

The artificial smoke scent was over powering, and took 3 double washes to get rid of the smell.

Smell is awful!

I will never know whether the product lives up to it’s claims because I wont be using it more than once! The smell is just awful - like I put my head in a charcoal smoker, and not in a good way. I also purchased and used the matching conditioner which says it helps to remove lingering odours (spoiler alert: it doesn’t) and even after drying my hair just reeks. Have shampooed again the next day using other shampoo and the smell is still really strong, who knows how long it’s going to take to get rid of this smell from my hair. Yuck!

Do not buy this unless you want to STINK

Understand these products need to have an unpleasant odour but this takes the cake. My hair, clothes, towel and pillows reek of smoke as if I’ve spent the night around bonfire. Friends have asked if I’m back on the ciggies it’s so strong. Wouldn’t recommend

Very effective! Highly recommended.

I have chronic psoriasis in my hair. My Dr recommended a couple of years ago that I upgrade from another tar shampoo to this combination of tar AND salicylic acid. It is much more effective. Used twice or more a week it keeps the condition quiescent, including the patches on my face. It is a real help. Thank you Ego!
