1) Add the colouring cream to the developer and shake well to mix. 2) Apply the mix to your hair, starting from the roots then throughout the lengths and ends. Leave in hair for 30 mins. 3) Rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Use the Caring Gentle pH Shampoo to remove any excess residue. 4) Apply a halzenut amount of the Lightweight Nourishing Mask. Leave in for 3 mins then rinse your hair. Use the mask once a week until your next colour for soft, shiny, lively hair.

Lovely l.
Hard to apply evenly as it’s thick and gluggy.

I have used this product for many years but yesterday’ I applied the new “improved” product but is was so thick that I had to use both hands to squeeze it out ( it used to be easy to apply) but it either didn’t come out or a big glob of hair colour popped out which was very annoying. The old product was never runny it was just a good consistency and came out easily and at a consistent rate. This new product left my hair so stiff after washing thoroughly with the shampoo and conditioner provided that I had to rewash my hair the following day to get rid of the hard hair that felt like I’d used a hair spray. The roots don’t even look like the grey regrowth was covered…,, I am a very unhappy customer and I wish you would return to the older version of this product it is definitely not satisfactory.

Thumbs down to the new formula

I have used Loreal's Excellence cream in Dark Blonde for several years. The new formula with hyaluronic acid is so thick that I cannot get it out of the bottle onto my roots. You have to try to scoop it out and plop it onto the roots. The end result is the colour comes out uneven and doesn't look like it used to.
