I'd initially bought this product with the intention of erasing my dark circles. They aren't too prominent, but after using it, the concealer definitely did its job. However, even with significant skin prep (for reference, I use a toner, moisturiser, pore primer, sticky primer, loose powder and setting spray) I noticed creasing, which is not common for me when I do my makeup. The size is convenient and works in a pinch. The applicator feels nice on the skin, and their shade range will accommodate most. I also got it half-off, so would recommend if you are looking for a budget concealer.

Honestly, I really fail to see what all the fuss is about!! Unless I ordered a dud (hey; you never know with Amazon) and am just using a bad one … I just couldn’t get the product to cover or lay down flat, and it creased and didn’t give me as much coverage as I would have liked. Considering this is a cult beauty item I’m really surprised that I had such trouble with it. And can we talk about the applicator? Also, is it supposed to be budge proof? Just don’t know anymore. I’m definitely not sold. Come on maybelline, you can do better than that! It’s probably user error though. I won’t get rid of it but I won’t reach for it either. A shame.

Bought this yesterday and was excited to try out but the following morning I discovered a lot of red small pimples on my forehead and my cheeks where I applied this concealer. I used it to cover my old pimples and pimple marks but instead it made it worse and redder. My old pimples weren’t even that bad and I would say I have not had a single breakout for months, but this concealer triggered so many pimples and I’m honestly super disappointed. I have never experienced such a bad breakout from a concealer and will not purchase ever again

I bought one of these 'erasers'...after a few uses, you wind it up and nothing comes through the sponge. Very frustrated!! I bought another one and the same thing has happened...I've pulled one of them apart...still doesn't come up to the sponge. Worst product I have ever bought. Who can advise how to get the concealer out?

I've purchased this product twice and both times it wound up in the bin. I assumed the first was damaged and a year later tried them again but with the same result. 20 minutes of "turning the top in the direction of the arrows", stand on hot water, shake, try turning it upside down. The sponge remains clean, dry and not one drop of concealer comes out. I actually removed the tip all together to apply it manually and the tube was almost empty once I look the applicator pump out. Very poor value for money. I wouldn't buy it again.

I recently purchased the Instant Anti-Age Eraser and have found that I cannot use this. No liquid comes out onto the sponge when I twist the applicator. This will now have to go into the bin. Waste of money!

I loved this concealer. I used medium, I have olive skin and this worked just fine colour wise. I loved the sponge applicator and you simply wind up the product and it comes out on the sponge ready to apply, just be patient waiting for the first bit to come out. At under $23.00 it’s great value and I don’t need to use a lot. It spreads easily and doesn’t go cakey. This concealer is brilliant for hiding dark circles and and puffiness, it’s particularly good for days when I look tired as it refreshes the eye area and make my under eyes look brighter, fresher, more youthful and less tired. I love Maybelline products and this concealer was great for erasing problems around my eyes, I would definitely use this again and would recommend it

If you are looking for a full coverage concealer then this one from Maybelline would be a good choice. The format of the concealer is a bit different to those where you apply it with a doe foot applicator. The top part of the concealer is like a sponge where you have to wind up the product and then the concealer comes out of it. Sometimes it's slow to come out so make sure you don't overdo it with the winding or else a lot will come out at once. It's easy to apply and the coverage is very good. I like to set mine with a powder to keep it in place and it makes my under eye area look brighter and more even. The only issue I have is that after using it for awhile the sponge gets really saturated with product which can make it difficult to apply. You can always take a concealer brush and wipe the product off the top which is what I ended up doing.

I hide my collection. I am addicted to them every single day, I have to wear, best ever I am 72 I am done with searching for the best cover up. And my veins in my legs, blemishes too. OMG
