KitchenAid KMT2109 2スライストースター（ジュニパー）

We bought this toaster twelve months ago and we haven't been able to get it toast on both sides. The symbols down the right hand side dont seem to help. The first symbol at the top looks like it will toast on both sides. That doesn't happen. But if you use the defrost button and the cook button, that only does one side well and one side with a faint hint of browning. I suspect my toaster has been incorrectly assembled, because you can see the elements on one side are glowing red but the element on the other side doesn't appear to be active.

I bought the Kitchenaid toaster 2 years ago, and never really loved it for the price of it. It really doesn't offer any thing over above a cheap toaster, but I have numerous Kitchenaid appliances so I wanted it to match other kitchen items/appliances. It always felt flimsy in the press down lever, which no longer works. The lever won't engage when toast goes down. It was just out of warranty so disappointingly Kitchenaid won't honour it. Not to mention the fact I've purchased several Kitchenaid stand mixers for my kids 21st's! I've been a long term solid customer, but Kitchenaid has just lost me.
