This product is made of a cotton and linen blend, which contains 48% recycled cotton, 31% organic cotton, and 21% linen. Unbleached fabrics, as well as fabrics containing recycled fibres, have a natural lively colour and surface where small different coloured areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this feature.
Extending Aino-Maija Metsola’s tales from the forest, the Kurre pattern presents a lively brood of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts – squirrels were a common sight in the designer’s childhood yard. The initial artwork was created on paper using a brush and ink.
