La Gina Diced Tomatoes 400g

Perfect for pasta sauce. I love these tomatoes, they are the perfect consistency for making pasta sauce. They are soft and diced enough that you need not mash them. I actually use this brand all the time.

Good quality. Great flavour but I always buy Australian brands. I would not buy but only for that reason. Nothing at all wrong with the product and the price is competitive.

Great meal starter. I enjoyed these tomatoes the tomato to liquid ratio is good. The tins are eye catching and price is fair. There is so many uses for tin tomatoes so very handy to always have in the pantry.

Handy pantry staple. We always have tinned tomatoes in our pantry as it is so versatile. I generally buy the Woolworth ones but just as keen to try this. It was just as good… nicely diced, not too much liquid/juice, ripe n flavourful. I added it to my pasta sauce to give it more oomph n body. It will likely be just as good in minestrone or made into a tomato sauce. We loved it n highly recommend it.

La Gina diced tomatoes. Diced tomatoes are a pantry staple in our household. I used the La Gina diced tomatoes to make ratatouille. It turned out quite nice; the tomatoes had a nice red colour and good quality. Such a versatile product to use for any tomato based dishes like lasagne and pasta. Made in Italy, it makes me wonder after seeing the 4 corners investigation, if they are 100% Italian tomatoes. Normally priced at $1. 40 a can, they are on special this week for $1. 20 a can. I was browsing around and found that Woolworths have Woolworths Diced Australian Tomatoes 400g at $1. 30 a can - they are a product of Australia. I would prefer to buy this as they are homegrown and support our farmers.

Good Canned Tomato. I used this can of tomato in a spice pasta sauce. It was ok taste wise. I would've preferred an Australian product instead.
