This iron is light weight and produces plenty of steam. Amazing iron for a reasonable price. Great for linen and cotton garments

I didn't want an automatic iron as reviews (including Choice) suggest they don't stay hot enough. Decided the Philips 3000 series was best bang for buck but when I went to buy one there was no stock. Paid more for the 5000 thinking it would probably be better but is it?? The main issue is the very loud spluttering that constantly happens and the uneven steam/water coming out. Other issue is the cord is too short. What ever happened to a decent cord length? Overall not happy. Will try to return this and buy a different brand (maybe Tefal). Fingers crossed they allow us to return it.

Glides across the clothes with ease. A little heavier than the previous iron but is very easy to use. Had a Philips Iron over 20 years ago and forgot how good they were.

Heats quickly and works well, didn’t think about the colour when I bought it though

Went by the reviews so got this iron, omg it just irons over the creases and wrinkles. Took me 3 hours for one wash basket, the amount of water it chews through is ridiculous. Best thing about this iron is the colour and comfortable to hold. Bur so so so disappointed.

This is a good iron. Quite light and it slides over fabric very easily taking less time to iron.
