Mystified

I have just used my brand new RapidSteam iron for the first time. As it was beeping, I then read the instruction manual to find out why it was doing this. Very unsatisfied to find no reference to any beeping alarm in the instruction manual. Mystified.

It's not hot enough, impossible to iron any mildly thick fabric such as linen.

Do not buy!!

This iron is terrible! At first I thought that it was just not as powerful as my previous iron, as I had to keep ironing over the same place multiple times for the wrinkles to come out. Then it would burn items of clothing and leave them permanently marked and the face of the iron has become black. This has all been on the 'cotton' setting or below. I have turned it down lower but it doesn't remove the wrinkles. I've ruined too many items of clothing and am now throwing it in the rubbish!!
