Boiling: Put dumplings into boiling water, cook covered for 5 minutes, stir occasionally. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and boil again for 3 minutes or until cooked. Drain away water.Steaming: Lightly brush the steamer rack with oil or place baking paper or lettuce on the rack. Place dumplings on the rack into food steamer and cook for 15 minutes.Pan Frying/Steaming: Heat flat non-stick pan with 2 tbsp vegetable oil on medium heat. Put dumplings with the flat side down and cook for 3 minutes. Add 1/4 cup of water and cover the lid to further cook for 4 minutes. Remove the lid and cook until the water has dried up and bottom of dumplings are golden brown.Microwave: Place dumplings into a microwave safe dish. Add enough water to cover the dumplings and cook on HIGH for 7-8 minutes. Drain away water. Cooking time may vary slightly according to power (wattage) of microwave oven and quantity to be cooked.
