Terrible, hit and miss when it works and only weeks old

Don't buy the VS4500. The gaskets wear out after a few years and are impossible to find.

Great for keeping food fresher and able to freeze for longer

Initially I thought this was going to be great. Unfortunately on the 2nd of use it stopped sealing. I had an old sunbeam sealer for years with no problem, so I thought why not. But I was wrong.

Foodsaver is great. Works as intended. Very easy to use with easy to use instructions

I have had this for more then a year and still works perfect every time, the plastics still look great also.

Just a couple of weeks ago I started an adventure with FoodSaver® Lock & Seal VS4500. It is a sleek vacuum sealer designed to make your food stay fresher for longer. And it does exactly what it promises. Since my Food Saver arrived I have used it every single day. It’s perfect for meal prep, ideal for marinating meats and incredibly worth using for storing fresh fruit (my watermelon is still crisp and fresh 3 days later!) It can be used in the freezer as it protects the food from freezer burn and at the same time helps me save a lot of space by eliminating the air from the food pouches.

I recently purchased this product for the purpose of less food wastage & to create more room in my freezer, it is easy to use and does exactly what I wanted it for, I would recommend this product.

My thrifty neighbour said I should get a vac sealer because I’ll be amazed at how much money I’ll save. I’m so surprised and appalled by how much food I used to throw out because it had gone off. My food truly does last SO much longer and I’m freezing so much now. Easy and quick to use although next time I’d get a machine that stores and cuts the rolls so I don’t have to use scissors

This is the first time I have used a Food Saver. I bought one on the advice of two friends. I like to freeze meat - I tend to buy bulk as I now use online shopping and home delivery. I also freeze meals from my slow cooker. So convenient and no wastage. It means that on some nights I can give the 'cook' the night off. I wonder how I did without it. I highly recommend them.

My sister has the premium FoodSaver and loves it. I went for this one as it’s cheaper to start me off. It’s super easy to use. Mostly use it to freeze meat. Also use the adapter to vac seal containers which am loving because I can make my work salads on the weekends and they remain perfectly fresh throughout the week.
