Takes forever to cook rice with mixed results. Have had cheaper cookers with better results. 50 mins to cook 2 cups of rice is ridiculous

Bought it this week after using efficient cheap and cheerful rice cookers while on contract out in the outback. Expected amazing capability, Instead ponderously slow even on rice settings, paucity in information in the socalled manual, confusing product ( so what does that mean when the little rectangular light display goes round and round then??? Is it thinking? Cooking?) Struggles to come up to temp and altogether a waste of money. Thanks for making a simple process so much more difficult.

Fantastic machine. The extra functions are really useful, definately worth paying for. I use it for rice and couscous. I make 1 pot soups in it and I slow cook everything from beans to beef and ham hocks. Super early to clean and store in the cupboard. I also found this models opening button easy to use

I bought this product about six months ago. Now the black non-stick layer of the bowl starts to peel off just about 2 months after. Is it under warranty for replacement? If not, where I can buy the replacement?

We bought this product easy rice & slow cooker plus RK736. And found the instruction booklet useless, unless you want to cook rice. There is no real help with different slow cooker ideas or clay pot etc. Very disappointing.

One of the best purchases I have made. I only bought this as a slow cooker. I have used it non-stop. It's very light, quiet and holds much more than I thought. 12 hour overnight massive piece of brisket just falls apart.

Just got it few weeks ago due to upgrade from my panasonic rice cooker. It's conveniently with digital led timer. Multiple cooking programs. Beep sound when it finished. I tried with jasmine rice that totally look fluffy and tasty. Non-stick and deep curly pot that reducing waste of rice when its gonna be stick in the pot if you was cooked less than 2 cups. Negative: pot is a bit heavy, LED board doesn't show totally time need to cook. Only show the time when it has 3-5 mins left.

Cooks rice perfectly but slowly. It takes forever to give you an estimated time that the rice will be ready. It just shows blank for the first five to ten minutes before an estimated finish time appears. But the rice does cook perfectly, vey fluffy. machine is also quite stylish. easy to clean.

So far, i am happy with this product~ is perfect for me.

This is an alright rice cooker. I've used it a few times so far and I like the other functions far more than the actual rice cooker part. It has options for things like soup and slow cooked meals, which is wonderful, and what I bought it for. It takes more than half an hour to cook 2 cups of rice, which is the only reason I scored it lower. The bowl inside is a very good size. I wish the instructions for the recipes were a little more detailed (ie, the claypot instructions say to put the rice and water in; when it beeps, you put the other ingredients in. No instructions on if anything else needs to be cooked previously, or what sorts of things you can use.)

I really enjoyed using this rice/slow cooker. I made a red wine and beef casserole, but as the slow cooker function is so good, it cooked the meat so well it was melt in your mouth and became a delicious ragu. I found the buttons easy to use and liked being able to see how long left on the digital screen. It’s also super easy to clean. After testing this product I will be replacing my slow cooker with it, as I have never had anything cooked as well as in this slow cooker.

Rice cooking is made really easy using this Tefal rice and slow cooker option. Every time the rice is cooked perfectly with a click of a button. The only disadvantage is that the cooking time is more compared to the other cookers. The other thing I did there are any other receipes included for the ease of use it will be good to try. The price is On the higher side. Overall it’s a great product to buy.

Cooking rice has become very easy. The rice is cooked to perfection like the ones in the Asian Restaurants - fluffy and not sticky. My teenage kids have learned to use the cooker too and they have eager to try it out too.

I loved trialling this as we use both these different appliances all the time. I have a really basic and old slow cooker so this was amazing in comparison. It’s so easy to use and the settings work well for a variety of dishes. And it’s so much easier to clean than my original slow cooker with the light weight non stick bowl

The Tefal Easy Rice & Slow Cooker Plus was super easy to use, delivered perfectly cooked rice everytime & worked just as well as a slow cooker for all our soups, casseroles & tender slow cooked meats. It successfully kept meals warm for over an hour without drying them out. My only issue was that the cord was only just long enough to reach the stove top & the use of a exhaust fan is a must due to the amount of steam it produces. Overall I am very impressed with the Tefal brand & will definitely consider it for my future purchases.

This was my first time using a rice cooker and the Tefal Easy Rice & Slow Cooker Plus did not disappoint. The product is compact and easy to move. Rice is cooked perfectly every time and the keep warm settings make planning ahead easy. When used as a slow cooker the bowl isn’t as big as my previous cooker but it’s still a decent size. Overall I’m loving the Tefal Easy Rice & Slow Cooker Plus and will never go back to cooking rice on the stove top.

The rice cooker element for starters produce some of the nicest and most fluffiest rice ever from any rice cooker or manual rice cooker method i have tried in years. It makes it so fluffy that any sort of meat dish that is applied to it just stays there on the rice and does not soak in any of the juices from the curries or sauces added. The slow cooker element of the device showcases an amazing fortitude of creations that can be made with this device. I was able to make some nice curries, and casseroles that turned out very juicy with an abundance of flavour coming from the dishes.
