Product is great! Feed all the crumbs in the removable bottom tray so much easier. Heats perfectly

Bottom burns and top stays cold

This is the worst sandwich press I've ever owned. The bottom gets unreasonably hot very quickly while the top plate barely gets hot enough to brown what it's touching so I'm left with a half burnt and half uncooked sandwich. Have tried waiting for it to say it's ready and have tried putting a sandwich in early, it's the same result either way. There has to be something wrong with it because surely everyone leaving good reviews isn't having this issue.

Easy to clean

Makes excellent toasted sandwiches, disappointed at the steak I cooked don't think it is hot enough for steak.
