Bought this as a gift after considering other thermos models. I chose this for its simple design - which means easier maintenance with no fiddly buttons and latches for an older person. The gold colour is understated and the thermos appears to work well (water still warm overnight and well into the morning). Overall, recommended design for tea drinkers at a reasonable price on sale.
