Not worth purchasing

Not worth purchasing. Unfortunately as I was expecting Fruit Salad when I opened the can; it was very disappointing. It was basically pear in a lot of liquid. We didn’t even bother eating it all. Luckily we had ice-cream for dessert, so I just put one spoon of the Fruit Salad over the ice-cream in each bowl, ensuring gave each person a few pieces of fruit & a little liquid. It was really very bland, but it could be handy if you were using it to moisten a cake that was too dry. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Bland

Bland. It is supposed to be a mix of pears, peaches and pineapple. The can I had only had about 3 pieces of pineapple. It lacked flavour and was swimming in liquid.

Not really fruit salad

Not really fruit salad. Similar to other reviews, keep expectations low on this being a variety fruit salad. Pear salad wouldn't be far from the truth! Taste fine, price point is reasonable - just be aware fruit isn't local.

NOT REALLY FRUIT SALAD

NOT REALLY FRUIT SALAD. Hard to call it fruit salad with mostly pears and not much else. It's inexpensive but a lot of juice, pears a little on the hard side. A ring pull opening would be preferred. I also prefer to buy Australian tin fruit. Would not buy again for many reasons.

Mostly Pears

Mostly Pears. Was easy to locate in store. I always have a tin of fruit in pantry for when I dont have fresh fruit. I prefer fresh over tin. product was mostly Pears but I like Pears so all good. I prefer tin peaches or apricots but it was a nice change. Wish it had a ring pull and was disappointed it was from China. What's wrong with our Australian fruit. Would purchase again

Fruit Salad or Pears?

Fruit Salad or Pears? I thought I had opened a tin of pears, thats what I thought it was. Inexpensive, alot of syrup. Taste was fair. I however made it into a cake, tasty. Recommend if you want to save $

Easy to use

Easy to use. I tried this as a desert with ice cream which I thought was very good, although there was a lot of pears I didnt mind as I like pears. With the rest I made a smoothy which was also good

OK if you like diced pears

OK if you like diced pears. It would have been better if there was more fruit. It was a lot of pears and not much else, rather disappointed this time.
