Zero-X ZX-40 4K UHD Action Camera

The camera itself is great but the horrible battery life makes it not worth the purchase.

Only problem is battery does not last long. If using 4K your lucky to get at least 45 minutes to 60 minutes.

Returned it to the store of purchase poor audio quality wasn't usable

Low cost camera -it is ok, but as not as good as the higher priced items.....

Very Average Camera not worthy of what JB-HiFi have written about it. The absolute biggest issue with the camera is the battery life is woeful and the camera turns on when you plug it into charge. I videoed over an hour of the inside of my car while it was on charge even though I turned it off again. Often when you set the quality and speed (fps) the camera will switch on in a different mode and I have seen it change modes when you switch to the front screen. This means that unless you check every time, you end up videoing in 2x speed or slow motion. The camera doesn't really have any outstanding features, its all just the same but bargain price the same. It behaves and performs like a slightly upmarket Chinese camera which is exactly what it is. What this camera needs is a Bluetooth external microphone so that when its in its waterproof case, it doesn't sound like you're videoing in an empty bean tin. Luckily for me, I had this camera given to me and it is way better than my previous garbage action camera however, if it were my money, I wouldn't buy one.

Great little unit high definition photos and works well

This action cam is fine if you don't have any high expectations and only require a basic action cam. Videos and photos have a grainy output even at correct lighting conditions and camera settings. Transferring files is a headache and battery life isn't the great as well bcoz it won't last 90minutes (max 20 minutes with HD).

The app was much better than people say it is. So was the camera. Awesome!

Image quality is good however its interface is clunky and the picture actually glitches so much it is unusable. Tried to place priduct support query on website and believe it or not - even the website glitches. Return to JB for customer support and stand around for 20 mins after a sales person is called. Avoid the pain - avoid this product at all costs !!!

Average camera , but for the money not bad The app to transfer images is useless

For a cheaper end action camera it is great, the touch screen is convenient and comes with a good amount of accessories. I bought the GoPro magnetic base which is perfect for what I do.

It's a great camera and came with a lot of attachments. Unfortunately, not the two I would imagine are most commonly used, being a short stick or a wrist band, so you don't loose it swimming / snorkelling etc.

Camera worked fine except for the battery which was extremely overstated. Said on the box that the battery lasts up to 90 minutes and after multiple tests I gathered it lasted just under 20 minutes on a full charge. Definitely not usable at all as if the battery runs out whilst filming it corrupts the video and doesn’t save it anyway so unless your going to be filming for less than 10 minutes do not buy this.

Videos has lag effects in 4K setting. On PC, the videos are grainy and pixelated. The 1080P settings for videos are not good, quality looks like 720P. Image stabilisation could be better. Pictures are probably the only good thing out of this camera. Standard accessories comes with the purchase. verdict: would not recommend probably get something better

The camera is awesome because the video quality is great but the only bad thing is, is that the app doesn't work but you can access the footage by putting the SD card in your laptop...

over all very happy with my purchase. Great image quality. Very high quality product.
