When we originally bought this machine for its compact design and features as we had little bench space at the time. The more we used it the better the coffees we pulled. However, there is ONE really annoying thing, you will be either mid pulling a shot or doing the milk and the cleaning light will come on and ruin whatever current operation the machine is doing :(

The unit is ready to go in seconds, and the extraction process is excellent resulting in a beautifully rich coffee. The foaming wand heats the milk quickly and creates a lovely foam (even using plant based milk). The only criticisms are the quality of the materials used (description online states “stainless steel”), and the location of the water container (which I acknowledge is obvious from the pictures)…my old Breville machine (which I’ve had for 14+ years) was solid stainless steel metal construction and had the water container at the front of the machine making it very easy to fill…the Bambino is more plastic (in the colour of stainless steel) than metal making the machine too lightweight when it comes inserting the filter basket (I have to hold the machine on the top to stop it moving). I also searched high and low to find a machine that had the water container at the front, but couldn’t locate one so decided to stay with the brand I knew. Hoping this one lasts me as long as my “old faithful”

Easy to use and producing great coffee so far.

This machine was not frothing milk properly after a couple of months use. Went through troubleshooting process with Breville & the machine was sent for repair. Approx 6 weeks after receiving the repaired unit back, the same problem was occurring. Contacted Breville & they agreed to replace the machine. Now approx 3 months after receiving the new unit, the same problem has resurfaced. I'll be trying another brand.

I loved the coffee from this affordable machine so much that when my first machine broke down for the second time I bought another thinking that the first was just a bad buy. Our new machine is now not working properly and I have now heard of 3 other people whose machines have also died just after a few months use. All experiences have the same features, the main one being the terrible repair service waiting 3-4 months for a repair. I will never buy breville again after this experience. As I said l, the coffee was great so it is so disappointing.

Heats up immediately

The Bambino replaced a much cheaper machine and it is a massive improvement in all functions of coffee making, I love the 3 second heat up and the steam wand is so much faster. Makes a great cup of coffee after a bit of fine tuning. Overall, very happy with my Bambino.

Love it, small and easy to use

Great small footprint and great machine. I'm still on my L plates so learning to find the right beans etc. Be aware that you need to fork out for a decent grinder so at the end there's extra spend. Also need some cleaning etc. But in all worth every cent. Just be prepared to learn and find good beans.

still learning how to get the best out of my new Bambino having finally replaced my old Breville 800Pro which was an amazing espresso machine, so I hope this is just as good.

I have owned a few Breville coffee machines in my time. I own a few decent ones and a few terrible ones. Unfortunately this one was not a winner. Yes I still use it to this day, as it’s for my holiday home. I have a few other items to replace before I can replace that again. It just taste like a poor coffee compared to my other machines. You can use a decent bean and it’s not quite right still.

This is our 5th Brevelle Espresso machine over about 20+ years. We are downsizing so the machines have gotten smaller each time. We have a Bambino Plus in the house that is a beauty. So we purchased a Bambino for our RV (as the Plus was Out of Stock sadly). The basket and handle is too lightweight and feels like a toy. Not robust enough at all. Very plasticky (if that is a word!) Have yet to find a grind that works in this machine but will persist. a choice of a more solid handle and basket would be good. And sadly the grinder I purchased to go in the van is also not good enough for a fine grind for a decent coffee. Overall not everly happy, but perhaps I should have researched better in a store.

Sturdy, little machine for two people.The quality of the frother is excellent and it's easy to clean. You can make a cafe quality cappuccino at home.

Makes a great at home coffee! Little shaky on the catch try while the machine heats up, but overall it delivers.

Such an easy machine and makes a great coffee. Get the right grinder though!

Makes a great coffee even with supermarket ground coffee. Milk frothing is as good as any large expensive machine. Great value for money with a small footprint machine

Perfect for our caravan. Compact & light. Have the Barista at home too, so familiar workings.

Great compact coffee machine

Great machine, easy to use. Warms up quickly, nice and small and produces good quality espresso. I’ve even taught my husband how to use it and he doesn’t drink coffee!

Received as a gift easy to use ..prefer the Piccolo was sturdy and had warming plate on top for the glasses

Excellent. I love the small form factor

After a few cups of trial and error in getting the amount and brew right, finally a perfect cuppa acheived. The machine works great ...very happy, easy to keep clean and work. A great little machine.

It is an easy to use machine that produces good tasting coffee. It replaced a lesser brand one we had and so far so good.
