Fun set, good value

My son really loves space so he was pretty excited to build this set. It is a great addition to the Spaceship and Asteroid Discovery set with only a couple of tiny areas for improvement. First, the good: the moveable engine area is a big hit, my son really likes pushing the button to open up the thruster nozzles. He also enjoys playing with the jet pack and the ship itself. The only complaints are with the wingtips that occasionally pop off during play, a little bit of reinforcing in this area would help. Also, it would be nice to have a place on the ship to store/dock the pack. All in all, very minor complaints to an overall fun set and good value for the money.

This set is epic, except for one thing.

This set is a great Lego set, the value was good, cool minifigure. My only complaint is that I wish it had one of those fun little aliens that came in the other sets of the line. Overall great set.

Best Space Plane Ever!

Here's my 6yo's take: "This Lego set is so good. My favorite thing about it is that it has a button that you press and then the fire in the back bursts open. It can do excellent dives when I play with it. Jet pack fits on the person very good and doesn't come off unless you try to take it off. The cab opens up and almost any Lego person can fit in. And there's a charger that is part of the button, but you can take it off and you have a charger for the jet pack. I'm done." I (the parent) would agree, it's an excellent set, my 6yo built it entirely independently while I was helping my 5yo fall asleep. The 6yo only came to tell me things twice, and it was because they were so excited about all the things that the spacecraft could do, not because they needed help. Fortunately, the 5yo did eventually fall asleep.

The Perfect Lego Set!

This set is the reason I LOVE lego. Hats off to the designers. The perfect introductory set or collectors set. All printed pieces, great build, excellent minifigure, wonderful autonomous robot build, who could ask for more? I honestly want a dozen of these to give to all my family and friends and will probably purchase at least one to keep new in box. This may be my favorite set in a huge personal collection. It's not the size of the set, license theme, or piece count, its the quality and imagination of the build. Bravo Lego! Thank-you!

"Atmospheric Rocket-Jet w/ Drone-Pack!"

An excellent light sci-fi spacecraft design. I love the minifigure character and accessories.

Good for young grandchildren

My grandsons enjoyed building these. Grandad had a great time sitting with them while they were doing it.

Impulse buy finds a little gem

My first Lego set was the Lego Space spaceship and the differences between that and this make you appreciate how clever Lego is now. This is a great little set; clever, stylish and fun to build and adapt.

Great Interstellar Spaceship

This is a great LEGO set because of when you push the battery in the engine opens and the Minifigure has a jet pack.

No place for robot

It’s a fun set. My only complaint is that there no space for the robot. It would be much better if there was a storage compartment for the robot.
