GREAT SET! Lego has definitely upgraded. i was a small F1 fan ,but this set made me a bigger fan. very good for playing and building. one of the best!

Bad play features

There are 4 peaces on the bottom that makes it impossible for the back wheels to spin with out you tilting it. Looks good but not good to play with.

Mclaren speed champion car

I brought this Mclaren car as a fun hobby and also to decorate my walls with (i have brought the other cars to line up on my wall) This purchase was perfect, it added its own style into my room and my younger brother absolutely adores looking at the cars and playing with them. 10/10 buy!!

Very clever design

I haven't built much Lego since being an expert builder as a child. However, I'm very impressed with this McLaren F1 car as it looks remarkably like the original, whilst using quite a few normal pieces, just in clever ways. I didn't have any problems with parts falling off or the floor dragging along, so I'm not sure what has happened with others. The only other recent kit I built was one of the tiny F1 cars and whilst that was missing a piece, the replacement part was sent very quickly, so I wasn't concerned if the same happened here. I've actually ended up with 17 spare small parts that may well be useful in the future, thank you Lego

My grandson wanted this for Valentine's Day

My 12 year old grandson loves to build the formula 1 cars. He has done many and some above his age level. He meticulously reads each instruction and builds his cars. He was so excited to pick his Valentine's Day gift and immediately asked for a new F1 Car. Love buying these for him. He now has his younger brother (5yrs) excited about building Legos. Perfect gift for your kids who have patience and love to build things.

The 2 upside down 3x3s on the bottom are terrible

The 2 upside down 3 X 3s can't stay on to save their life, whenever u try to put them back on everything else falls off, and blue tack doesn't even work to keep them on because other stuff is still super loose
