Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Monitor Over-Ear Headphones (Black)

Had mine for 3 years hardly used and the pu material on the ear pads and head strap is disintegrating! Not happy!

Bought these and they were the lowest quality garbage I’ve ever had the misfortune of placing upon my own head. They are unbelievably uncomfortable and warm, and the interchangeable ear pads make it so that if they accidentally fall out (which happens often), you’d best believe you will be spending upwards of 20 minutes going through the most frustrating experience possible of trying to fit them again. The mic is advertised as professional quality, despite being worse than a 20 dollar turtle beach headset I got at an arcade. If you don’t have a full audio setup, I’d recommend crawling through glass for 7 kilometres naked before I’d recommend choosing these headphones as your primary headset. To the creators of these headphones, please never take up craftsmanship ever again, the world is worse with these headphones in it

I remember when I bought these EXACT, unchanged, headphones from PCCG (still can buy it) for $150... 12 fücking years ago. Typical JB Hi Fi obnoxious upselling to obnoxious people

These are excellent headphones . I use these for studio monitor use - but they would have many applications . They’re not exactly cheap … but remember , you get what you pay for ! Once you purchase these your done ✅ you won’t find yourself returning to the shops for something else . Recommended !

Purchased for working on radio - these are perfect for what I Needed! These do not "noise cancel" - so if you are buying these to hear music with no interruption - I'd be looking for the "noise cancelling' over these.. I wasn't looking for total "noise cancelling" as I don't really need that "on air" as studio is quiet when no one is in there anyway and while "on air" I really love these! thank you!

Ive had them for about 3 weeks now. Overall, they're good for the price if you're using them to make music on. They aren't particularly accurate in the low end much, so i probably wouldn't recommend to mix on them. They are bass heavy, however i find my mixes have too much bass when played back on other systems because I cant hear whats going on properly in the Sub bass area on these headphones. But to get your ideas out and to start your tracks, they're great. If you're just listening to music, they're also great. I have the V-moda m-100s, and these have much more bass than even those (which are also known for being bass heavy) The bass is punchy but also over emphasised, they're loud and easy to drive, and the top end is bright. So overall, if you're tight on money, they're a good starting out pair of headphones, but if you want something more accurate, you're better off going with something flatter like something from Beyerdynamic

Amazing quality headphones, durable and great for djing

These headphone are great for all uses. Good for long time use, you ears will feel comfortable and won’t hurt unless you plan on using them for mine then 6 hours but that are just my ears it my be different for you. Use it for the pc and got them for cheaper

Outstanding soundstage and clarity for the price. Just the right amount bass, doesn't colour the sound too much.

Very good value for quality and budget, it’s fantastic for music lovers and entry level headphones, good amplifier and portable audio dac is a must. Not focused on movies and TVs show sounds affect but it’s focused and perfect for music. Due to the speakers are best designed for music but still can do movies and TVs shows. If you have a Sony amplifier 1080 7.2 and Sony blue-ray player is perfect combo for movies but not straight from the TVs.

Great sound quality. Construction is good. Various 3.5mm cord types and lengths to plug in. A little over priced but what isn’t these days. Overall pretty good so far but we’ll see how they stand up to the test of time.

Blown away with the comfort and sound quality especially at this price point....they easily compete with higher end more expensive cans.

it's overall good, some design issue I noticed like button on left side is little awkward for me and they placed buttons even at not convenient place. I've used Sony headphone before and Sony is very good at design. Don't know the sound quality at the demo in store is totally different when you hear your tracks, may be tracks at demo made specially to sell this headphone, demo tracks are super cool, they made my choice changed from sony XM4 to this one!

Really feels like I’m listening to music in a live room l. Solid audio quality and comfortable to wear with only slight ear aching after long periods of use. They are all on the other hand a bit pricy for what they are do if you feel like buying them I’d try and catch a sale. Overall 8/10 pair.

Not as crisp as I was hoping. Comes with 3 cords of different lengths and includes a headphone jack adapter, but I wish the coiled cord was about 60 cm longer so I can sit across from the stereo instead of having to sit next to it.

A very successful present. My nephew was thrilled; particularly because the cord is not permanently attached to the headphones and would be able to be replaced. (Apparently this is the first thing to break on all headphones.)
