Audio-Technica LP60X Fully Automatic Turntable (Black)

Its good, worth buying for first somebody's first turntable as a present. It'll last many years, long enough to pay itself off, especially when it's on sale. The only real issue I have noticed is the manual freedom you have if you are slow to drop the arm. There are buttons that you can use to automatically start or stop the record and have the arm automatically drop onto the record/return to the off position however, the arm will sometimes glitch, automatically it will return to the off position when you try to lift and drop it on a record manually. If you hold the arm in the air you can trigger a never ending automatic loop of the arm trying to play then return to off. I think the product could use an upgrade by considering that a user manually lifting and dropping the needle should never trigger the automatic system, that is why there a buttons.

It provided everything I needed for my setup and performs flawlessly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality and reliability.

love this! My first record player and works like a charm! It was easy to setup, and works with pretty much every record! However I would recommend getting speakers and a record cleaner (i.e. a velvet brush) to enhance the experience!

Slays, much better than a suitcase player and sounds great

This record player is gorgeous and sleek, it allows you to display your records even when they arent in use, i bought it and forgot there wasnt a built in speaker but that was an easy fix for me. Love it!

Sadly my last 3 Electronic purchases from JB have been unsatisfactory. They worked but took a lot of effort and costs to do so. Realme phone was a disappointment Denon AVR had to finish up paying someone to come and set it up(Now reset itself) Turntable is still an ongoing problem. I think JB, should employ people with technical experience. Real people solve problems. Cheap prices only bring expensive settlements.

First turntable might also be the only one I'll ever need! fantastic sound quality without changing the needle. Reliable.

After having it for a week, returned it because it kept stopping immediately after starting, and returning the arm to its hold. My previous Audi-Technica unit did the same thing after about four years, this one only took a week.

Great entry level vinyl player. Has a switch to select Line or phono output allowing the player a bit of flexibility when choosing amp/speakers.

Brought this for my dad for fathers day. Read the previous reviews and took a chance. Plays extremely well and is super easy to set up. Have it connected to a stereo system and the sound is great! Definitely worth the money. Great for beginners!

The Audio-Technica LP60X fully automatic turntable is reasonable for price, it would be good if it was semi auto in that i can place tonearm at the spot i want to play nit always at the beginning. Also its a pity it doesn't play old 78 records and gave some gauge to advise the turntable is playing at correct speed 33 or 45 rpm.

The Audio Technica turntable is fantastic quality. I noticed a difference in the sound quality immediately, after having owned quite a cheap turntable for a few years. Really happy with this purchase. This was a birthday gift for my partner and he's really happy with it. Very easy to set up and very simple to play records, all you have to do is press play. It also looks and sounds good. Very good quality player for the price.

Great turntable for a novice like myself and very straight forward in terms of operation. Simply place the vinyl & press play - starts spinning & the arm automatically lifts & moves into the correct position (same with pressing stop - the arm will auto lift & move to it's holster). For the price I was hoping the casing was metal but it's a nice shiny plastic. A little bit on the pricey side but the sound quality is excellent & very simple to use.

You really cannot go wrong here if you’re looking for your first player...easy setup straight out of the box and once hooked up to amplifier with decent speakers/subwoofer, it’s as good as it gets, especially at this price range!

I purchased this turntable on behalf of my father-in-law so he could make use of all his old vinyl. After checking out a few reviews, I decided that this would do the job. Connected up to some bookshelf speakers, this thing sounds great. Also, it's super easy to use. Just pop on your record, select the size and push start. The arm automatically moves into place and starts playing. The only thing which I could see as being an issue is the super-thin rubber 'belt' which drives the turntable. I'm not sure how long it will last and how to go about getting a replacement.
