Bali Body Self Tanning Mousse 200ml

I have such a love/hate relationship with this product. The first bottle I purchased, I instantly hated because the application was so incredibly difficult (I've been tanning with mousse, every week for about 12 years now) but this tan was so difficult to move around and blend. However, once I left it on and washed it off, it was such a beautiful colour tan that developed more into the next day. It stayed put well, and I was determined to get the next application done better. I still struggled a bit, but with every application, I found it easier and easier to apply. A win, I'd say!So I ordered another bottle, it took a while to arrive and when it arrived it was in different packaging. Weird, I checked the ingredients, and the ingredients were different. But again, being an avid tanner, I'm used to brands changing their formulas and packaging. I checked the website and the website is still showing the packaging I got on the first delivery. I did my first application with this bottle, 2 things, the mousse itself was a different colour to the previous bottle, much paler and when applying, it barely looked any different to my natural skin colour. However, the application was so much easier than the first bottle. I left the tan on for 6 hours and rinsed it off, I barely looked any more tanned but had faith that it would develop more overnight and it did. Again a lovely, natural looking shade, but I would not say it's a deep tan, it's definitely more medium. I moisturise every single day to keep my tan looking fresh. After about 3 days with this second bottle of tan, I noticed that this tan starts coming off in an almost speckled pattern. By day 4, you've got to scrub the whole thing off otherwise it just looks awful! I've found that both bottles of this tan makes the pores on my chest quite congested and the second bottle has made me break out in spots across my chest. Ive been using products to combat this and exfoliating before my tan as reccomened. I can get it cleared up, and as soon as I tan again, it's all congested and I start getting spots in the days after tanning.I enjoy how fast the first bottle dried down as I hate the feeling of a sticky tan while waiting for it to set. However, with the 2 different bottles being sent, which are quite different products I would not risk ordering again. I think the cons outweigh the few pros in this situation. I also do not feel that a tan lasting 3 days before it starts coming off to the point of having to remove it, is not worth the time spent on applying the tan. I'm spending most days pale, or speckled with a blotchy tan.I was initially reccomened this product via an influencer who uses the violet tan, one that isn't suitable for my complexion, so I don't know if that version is better than this one. Overall, a few months of being disappointed despite persisting through. Ultimately I will be going back to Filter by Molly Mae, as it's a tan I had used prior to this for around 4 years, it's reliable, easy to apply, has a great colour pay off and lasts well into 7 days before having to remove.

Brilliant products, ive tried a mousse in violet and the lighter one as well as tanning gel and all are fab, lovely natural tan without a nasty smell, would def recommend 😀

I tried this self tan mousse and thought it was really good. The consistency, after a good shake, is thick, I used the application mitt I bought along with the mousse, it glides on beautifully! No streaking just a gorgeous even beautiful natural tan. I was super impressed with this product and can honestly say I wouldn't go back to the brand I used before.Ball Body is my new fave product! Love it!

I absolutely love it!! It is so good I said I have to write a review. Goes on so easy, beautiful smell, dries super quick and no sticky feeling afterwards. My new fav brand 😍😍

Tried this one time 3 months ago. My chest has been covered in spots every since.

Went patchy after the rinse. The colour leans more towards orange. Disappointing.

I love the effect of this tan and how it looks but I've bought 6 bottles 2 of which were dud in that they leaked. The pump didn't work and there was no foaming action so it effectively just leaked tan everywhere. So sad because I really like the tan but I feel reluctant to buy again when I lose half of it

Very good self tanning product, the only reason why it gets 4 stars from me is the smell. I leave the tan for 4-8 hrs and especially if I sleep in it the smell is really bad. _x000D_ But the tan itself is very good if properly used, easy to apply, doesn't get in the wrinkles and hard spots" É"
