Well, after looking at the price of genuine filters for my new machine and not certain about their environmental impact I tried cheaper, charcoal ones. Unfortunately the cheaper ones leaked colour and small pieces into the water so threw them away and decided to protect my machine and pay for the genuine part.

Trusted product from manufacturer always use known brand

These are not filled with charcoal. They are filled with orange beads. The filter material itself is loose and fibres pull away from it. They do not look like what is on the box front. Really cheaply and poorly made. Breville suggested they may be counterfeit and they are not like the original that came with my machine.

Excellent product fits Breville machine great they last along time

These filters make all the difference in getting the perfect crema on my coffee from my Breville espresso machine.
