Breville Choc & Cino Milk Frother

I bought this item in the last 4 months, so dissapointed its like a lotto if your lucky you might win an get some froth. No I would not recommend this product it bought it to have froth milk for my hot chocolate and it rarely froths the milk

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought this frother to replace another brand frother for a pod coffee machine, as I was sick of cleaning it by hand every time I used it. This Breville frother is machine washable, with a caveat that it can decrease performance of heating over time. After 3 years of daily use, the dishwasher has taken its toll, but thankfully Breville offer the cup as a spare part at a price cheaper than replacing the whole unit, so that's what I am here now to order. 9/10, would buy again, even if I couldn't replace the cup by itself!

I purchased this 2 days ago and it is locked on cappuccino and I can't change it to chocolate, or anything else. Very disappointing

I bought this a few days ago and it is a disappointing purchase. It does not even froth the milk. Wasted my money.

I bought this a couple of months ago but find that although I only add the amount of milk suggested for cappuccino, it always overflows. It does a great job of heating and frothing the milk

Purchased a couple of years ago and like others seems something plastic internal is melting.

I had no idea I needed one of these until I got one for my birthday! It's so easy to just pour in some milk, throw in chocolate flakes, set it off and away it goes. My partner and I both use it regularly. I especially love how easy it is to clean, with the magnetic mixing attachments that you just pop off. I highly recommend it!

This is second purchase of the same product , seems after working fine for over a year - same problem as first one - stops frothing

Love this item but it’s started making sounds then smelling like burnt. Upon looking at the base it looks like it’s burnt base. I’d like some help.

Transparent lid handle is poorly designed and too small for fingers to gain purchase to open lid after frothing milk without holding the rim. This then exposes the fingers to escaping steam and potentially a burning hazard

I use this to make my chai latte, I always use the frother disc not the normal one; it actually is pretty useless and doesn’t tend to do it’s job (the normal mixer disc attachment) but the frother and heating or cooling the milk works perfectly, haven’t had any issues and had it for over a year. I keep taking mine to and from work so I’ve decided to buy two one for home and the other for work. I also make hot and cold choclate and milk and bubble teas in it.

Brought last week and have already lost the frother magnetic thing, how can I purchase a new one?

bought just over a year ago, but looks like something that holds the magnet for the frother has melted, rendering the machine unable to froth milk after only a handful of uses (was bought for frothing milk when travelling, so sat in the box most of its life). Looking at other reviews here it is a known problem. Will be interested to see how Breville handles the repair/replacement as it is out of warranty, but highlights that you should use a product extensively when first bought. And check the reviews. Hopefully this is sorted for future Frothers, as when it works it is great!

After 3 days, I had the same experience as another review. The black plastic goo came out from under the plate all along the rim with smoke and burning smell. If you are a latte lover avoid this product. Using the latte attachment and settings you end up with pure foam. It also heats the milk too hot. We returned the product and I opted for Lavazza Milk Up Induction Frother which does a great job for a latte producing milk that has a good texture and temperature.

Been using the product for a week and froths milk very well and at a nice hot temperature. One day I smelt burning plastic and spotted some melted plastic circling the hotplate. Probably a bad unit?

Bought this machine to specifically make hot chocolates as I am pregnant. Only made maybe 6 hot chocolates when I got the burning smell. Stopped the machine straight away and left it to cool down. Looked fine so I tried again the next day only it will no longer turn the disk. Tried all troubleshooting ways from the manual but still does not work. Disappointed in Breville

What a great product. I love the Chai feature and my kids love love love the hot chocolate feature. The milk comes out like melted marshmallows, yummy. I chose this product as the other brands didn't have the different frothing options and had a much smaller capacity. So very happy with it.

The BEST milk frother out on the market!! Honestly have tried numerous brands, who claim to froth the milk like barista’s but don’t live up to the hype. However this one is a breed on its own. Don’t hesitate to purchase this. You won’t regret it.

This is brilliant! I hesitate for a while because I didn’t want to spend the price, but bit the bullet…. I am so glad I did though. We have had it for a month and used it several times a day. It’s brilliant. Highly recommend to anyone who is yet to take the plunge- you won’t regret it.

I ran this product for a couple of minutes and all was going well and then the frother came loose. I tried to get it back in place but it kept coming loose - the magnet just would not hold. I cleaned the machine and tried again and it lasted 2 seconds, so I cleaned it and tried again and it lasted 2 seconds! I returned the machine to the place of purchase straight away - sorry but what a waste of money!

Brilliant, easy to use and clean machine. It has many uses, heats and frothes flavoured milks wonderfully. Cold function makes a wicked milkshake. No more scrubbing burnt milk pots!

I previously owned the black breville milk frother and was so happy with it, I upgraded to the choc and Cino and it is even better! Especially because my husband, kids and I like our milk different

Does the job! I love this frother except for one thing. I wish that Breville could find a way to make the fill amounts easier to read. I just use a cup & all is good.
