Breville Nespresso Creatista Plus Coffee Machine (Brushed S/Steel)

Makes the best coffee there is until something breaks down. From there, its all painful. No chance of replacement even under warranty. You pack it all up carefully and send for repair. It comes back with still some issues. Your only option is to repeat the process. We also have a Citiz machine, and that seems better than this expensive - and unfortunately more conplex - machine.

I would not buy this machine or any Breville product. It broke down twice since purchasing it and now Breville are refusing to replace or repair it as it's outside their warranty period. Australian Consumer Law states a product should last a "reasonable amount of time" but Breville don't seem to care about the law. According to them an expensive coffee machine isn't expected to last more than 2 years.

I bought mine Espresso 10 years ago. I love it. I’m buying another one for my new home.

Works well, this is my second one , as the first one lasted 5 years and would Not heat the milk

We first received our Breville Creatista Plus as a gift back in 2017, and after years of daily use it’s been so reliable and enjoyable that we recently purchased another one without hesitation. The coffee quality is consistently excellent, the milk texturing is fantastic, and it’s incredibly easy to use while still feeling premium. It’s one of those appliances that genuinely earns its place on the bench and becomes part of your daily routine. The fact that we chose to buy the same machine again years later says everything, highly recommend for anyone who wants café-quality coffee at home with minimal fuss.

I bought this machine in October 2018,so 7 years ago,and it has been faultless. I've used it twice a day everyday and it's never let me down.I also bought a cheaper Nespresso machine to take to work but the difference in coffee quality between the two machines is night and day.The ability to control the milk temperature and froth,as well as the strength of the coffee makes for a perfect coffee everytime once you find which coffee pods work for you. I never use the Nespresso pods as they're too expensive,and unfortunately the Republica pods i used for years are now only available online,no doubt because they put the price up so much that the supermarkets won't stock them.I've now moved over to Daly Street intense from Coles which are a 12 strength and currently only $10 for 30 and i'm extremely happy with them.When it comes to descaling,I also save money by just cleaning with white vinegar and water instead of the expensive Breville cleaning liquid.Another tip is to give another quick steam wand blast after the first one automatically cleans it through,as the holes seem to get blocked after a few uses,but 2 wand cleans each time instead of one fixes this. I just hope this machine doesn't break down anytime soon because i don't want to buy another and get a lemon like a few people on here see to have done.

This coffee machine is very loud. I’m beginning to think it is defective. Can it be replaced?

In the first year my machine failed. I revised a new one. That failed within 6 months. In the first 3 years I had 4 machines. Now my latest one has failed. This machine is absolute junk. If you look online the problem is common. The milk steamer fails ALOT. There is no DIY fix. Don’t waste your money

Stayed at an Airbnb that had this machine. It’s fantastic and super easy to use. I have a machine with grinder at home but going to change to one of these now!

Bought this machine 3 years ago and it has broken for the 3rd time. Buy the extra warranty if you’re purchasing this as you will need it! Unless we just got a lemon.

I am enjoying my Truffle, however I have not received my 2 cups and 2 long spoons yet

Love the Creatista Plus, it makes lovely coffee, is easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

We bought our first Creatista in 2019 and it was great such that when the machine started to play up in 2023 we got another Creatista and lo and behold ! The experience really went downhill from there. We got the replacement machine after two months when the milk frother played up. And after 18mos it is playing up again. The person from the store recommended that we descale the machine every two weeks and if needed we do it often. I descaled the 2019 machine when it prompted me and the 2023 I need to do it even when the machine is not asking me - just to enjoy our morning coffee. Paging Breville - what happened to this beautiful machine that was once a gorgeous swan in our kitchen now it is an ugly duck :( Our machine is still under warranty but we don't know if a replacement can make us believe in Creatista again.

This machine is very easy to use and the milk is perfectly frothed by just press the buttion

Brought this machine then it broke 12 months later then got a replacement and about 16months after that it no longer produces hot coffee. Don’t recommend this model.

The coffee was luke warm at best and the machine would only make a small coffee.

No replacement parts available so when it breaks the only option is a very expensive service. As an engineer I'm not impressed with the low quality internal components of this Creatista Plus in s/steel and after sales maintenance support. Broke shortly after warranty finished.  Initially happy with coffee and looks of the machine but then it started leaking water.

coffe great but now the steamer dont work keeps coming up needs a clean wand which i did every day for a week and have done 3 descales and still not working very dissapointed never been used by anyone else but me paid a lot of money for a machine to not work after 15 months
