Breville Nespresso Creatista Plus Coffee Machine (Smoked Hickory)

Bought one today as my other one was 4 years old and started leaking water. Love the colour Smoked Hickory

I would not buy this machine or any Breville product. It broke down twice since purchasing it and now Breville are refusing to replace or repair it as it's outside their warranty period. Australian Consumer Law states a product should last a "reasonable amount of time" but Breville don't seem to care about the law. According to them an expensive coffee machine isn't expected to last more than 2 years.

I bought this machine in October 2018,so 7 years ago,and it has been faultless. I've used it twice a day everyday and it's never let me down.I also bought a cheaper Nespresso machine to take to work but the difference in coffee quality between the two machines is night and day.The ability to control the milk temperature and froth,as well as the strength of the coffee makes for a perfect coffee everytime once you find which coffee pods work for you. I never use the Nespresso pods as they're too expensive,and unfortunately the Republica pods i used for years are now only available online,no doubt because they put the price up so much that the supermarkets won't stock them.I've now moved over to Daly Street intense from Coles which are a 12 strength and currently only $10 for 30 and i'm extremely happy with them.When it comes to descaling,I also save money by just cleaning with white vinegar and water instead of the expensive Breville cleaning liquid.Another tip is to give another quick steam wand blast after the first one automatically cleans it through,as the holes seem to get blocked after a few uses,but 2 wand cleans each time instead of one fixes this. I just hope this machine doesn't break down anytime soon because i don't want to buy another and get a lemon like a few people on here see to have done.

In the first year my machine failed. I revised a new one. That failed within 6 months. In the first 3 years I had 4 machines. Now my latest one has failed. This machine is absolute junk. If you look online the problem is common. The milk steamer fails ALOT. There is no DIY fix. Don’t waste your money

Love the Creatista Plus, it makes lovely coffee, is easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

The coffee was luke warm at best and the machine would only make a small coffee.

Terrible service by Breville. Steam wand constantly blocked. Pump has stopped working twice. Breville avoid providing support. Replaced once, sent for repairs twice - only owned for two years. Do not recommend.

Fantastic machine. The whole family loves it!!!

We bought this machine in May 2021 and it has needed to be repaired twice in just over a year. Recurring issue of machine leaking water on the left side each time the coffee is being made. Not happy at all with Nespresso after sales service nor would purchase again. Avoid the headache!

Small & easy to use. Sits on a pod box and looks great

It was a great machine at the start, loved it used everyday. After a year and half the steam stopped working, won’t heat up milk and forth, claimed my first warranty and died again after a few months. We got to the point had to microwave the milk cause no matter how many times we tried it just makes loud sharp noises. Luckily I purchased extra warranty or would ended up in the bin. If you want something that last two years and rich as don’t care the money, go for it then.

Great machine & great coffee. Once you try coffee like this, you won't ever want to drink instant again. Simple, quick and efficient! With pods it's very easy to try many flavours quickly to find your favourite.

Inconsistent milk temp. Had the first machine replaced and the second had the same issue. Doesn’t matter which level of heat you choose they’re all scolding hot. Even the “cool” setting is undrinkable. Used a thermometer to check the temperature variance and it was basically random on what temp you’ll get. Have used everything the right way, original jug and making sure the temp sensor is clean and the jug has correct contact. Very disappointed.

In 7 months I’ve had to send back my machine 2 times to be repaired and now the third one is doing the same thing as the last two! A total of 3 months without the machine during the 7 months of owning it. No annoyed

Good machine when it worked. But died after 25 months. Save yourself from grief. Post support from the 'Nespresso Club' not great either. Took it back to JB for post support and goodwill warranty as machine should not be dying in a relatively short timeframe. They said, they will 'investigate.' Not liking my chances.

An excellent product. Only had it for a short time but it has already made many excellent mugs of coffee. Easy to use once you get used to the use of the buttons and menus.

This a great machine, especially for those who love their milk hot!

Bought this machine in January this year and have hardly bought a coffee from a cafe since, except when at work and even then usually make one before work to take with me. The milk is creamy and always the right temp and you can adjust if needed. I use Nespresso coffee capsules which are the best! Would definitely buy this machine again next time and recommend it to everyone I see when discussing coffee machine’s.

I bought myself this machine months ago & bought this one as a gift for family because it is so good. Simple to use to make varieties of ‘hot’ coffee unlike other machines I have tried in the past
