Breville the Bit More Plus 4 Slice Toaster

Such a bad toaster. Uneven and burnt even with a replacement after it happened with the first one

Excellent products, arrived in good condition

lasted just over 12 months then died, had many Breville toasters and they seem to last less and less, won't be buying the brand again!

Most inconsistent toaster known to man. I bought this expecting a quality toaster but every time we use it it is a game of roulette as we never know how the toast will come out and don't try and use it straight after toasting as it spits out charcoal next time round. Had it a couple of years and don't understand why I'm still putting up with it today it goes in the bin and I will purchase anything else but one of these again.

Every Breville toaster I buy directly after a year. Designed to not last so you buy another. Companies like this need to be responsible for the landfill they create. You can’t fix them or just buy a new element to replace it. A total scam from a brand that positions itself as the more expensive option.

Love the Breville little bit more toaster, the large slots are great for the thick slices of sourdough & it toasts evenly, plus the little bit more function is fabulous…… no more burnt toast for me!!

I love the slim line 4 slice toaster. It uses less space on my benchtop and looks terrific with the glass and stainless steel kettle!

This product works really well once you adjust the settings properly. After doing that, the performance was excellent and met all my expectations. Overall, a solid purchase. A good buy if you're willing to tweak it to your needs!

Makes excellent toast and the "A Bit More" is great.

This toaster replaced our old one which was exactly the same. I'm not sure how old the previous one was but we have had it for many years. The 'A Bit More Plus 4 Slice' is a great toaster. It toasts evenly and the pull out crumb tray makes cleaning easy. The two long slots in the top work well for us as we don't use regular square sliced bread and this allows for bread of any size.

This toaster is useless. It half burns the toast every time! Impossible to get consistently toasted bread! For the price, this is an absolute rip off.

A simple, reliable toaster. Not fancy with "bells & whistles" that you don't need; when all you want is 1 to 4 slices of good ol' toast, made just the way "you" like it. Why pay an over-the-top price for an expensive toaster with "features" and a "look" that won't really produce an honest slice of toast that's any better than what this will? Short answer: "don't". Eventually, all toasters die. This Breville Bit More Plus 4 Slice Toaster will do the job well!

Our last Breville held out for almost 6 years and wanted to replace it with the same as we had no issues.

Excellent toaster bought as a replacement for our previous Sunbeam model. The new Breville is a much better toaster and seems to toast everything perfectly. The "Little Bit Extra" button works a treat too.

Toast was charred (actually black) on at least one edge and blondish elsewhere, depending on where the bread was placed. A toaster has one job to do and this unit failed miserably. Returned for refund.

Doesn’t toast evenly and burns the edges of toast.? Inconsistent browning so you have to retorts and watch it doesn’t burn

Toaster gets very hot to touch, toasts unevenly, burns edges of toast with unpleasant smoke smells permeating the house. Need to continuously watch process and adjust settings constantly keeping temperature low. We toast a variety of breads+crumpets. Extra wide and long self centering slots are not effective for one slice. Cancel button constantly glowing red?, browning control dial is hard to read and all naming of all components is very dull except for fruit bread. High lift lever does not have capacity to stay up which would be helpful.

Easy to use. Toasting is very uneven though with the edges of what's being toasted usually ending up burnt. Not really value for money.

I initially purchased a BTA440 toaster on 23/5/23 in Muswellbrook NSW. I immediately noticed that slices of bread burnt at their edges. Your personnel advised me to return it to the retailer for exchange. This I did on 06/06/23. I am exceptionally disappointed that the replacement toaster produces a similar result. The packaging states, "How do you toast ANY TYPE OF BREAD and get it JUST THE WAY YOU LIKE IT?" I am not achieving that outcome! I await your advice concerning a full refund. (Please DO NOT suggest I return it to the retailer to be replaced!)

Makes toast. Just like it’s supposed to. Long slices, wide slices, 4 slices. Nothing beats a toaster that has a button for “a little bit more” This is our second toaster of the same model. The other died of old age and use. It was so good we bought the same one again.

Absolutely terrible toaster, burns the edges of the bread and hardly even warms the middle, let alone browning it. Very disappointed. Gave Breville the chance to rectify this through their support case and they just completely ignored me.

A good toaster with no major flaws. It toasts stuff well, is easy to use and to clean. Does what is should with a minimum of fuss
