Breville the Coffee & Spice Precise Coffee Grinder

Worked great for just over a year, then just our of warranty it stared to not function as intended. When powered you should need to press the button to start the grind. Now it is 'on' regardless of the button, and doesn't grind as well. Kept it as clean as I could, but it still failed me. Get extended warranty if you want to chance it.

Update to my previous review (where I recommended the product, but commented on the poor redesign of the grinder since my earlier model that had lasted 15 years) - I now no longer recommend this product. Less than 5 months in, and the Start/Cancel button has stopped working. The grinder doesn't turn itself on or off, so I have to use the power switch at the wall. Nor does it grind effectively by doing this (it doesn't seem to get the proper speed up). I have raised a warranty case but am very disappointed. This is not what I expected from Breville products.

I recently purchased my second Breville coffee grinder - the first having lasted 15 or so years. It's curious that a redesign of the grinder lid, in the newer version, makes for more mess than the previous model. There's a groove that I suppose is meant to stop coffee grounds from spinning out of the cup, but actually they spin out more than they used to without that groove. The groove makes the cup harder to clean, and the grinder base ends up with lots of coffee grounds in it that need cleaning out every time - something I hardly had to do with my last grinder. Still, if the grinder lasts as long as my old one, I'll be happy!

My teenage son saved up and bought this for his dad’s birthday (6/7/2025) it stopped worked before Oct 1, 2025. So disappointing. A complete waste of money!

Bought it in jun 2025 Used 3 times Grind ( almonds, cashews , dry dates) machine exhaust after 10 seconds and machine stopped. Not much power. I will not recommend this to anyone who is buying for multipurpose

I think the product itself is ok but mine arrived without instructions and the Stainless -steel bowl was dented on 2 sides.

I use this devide to grind my red lentils to make delicious protein bread. It's a great machine. I love it.

This grinder is perfect in every way. It is reliable and reasonably quiet for a coffee grinder. With the dial set at midway, I get a perfect draw from fresh beans set to grind for 2 cups, but I use a five-cup coffee machine setting. Experiment!

I bought the Breville Coffee grinder LCG350 few months ago. I have been unable to use it because it came with NO instructions and Breville has no manual for this Grinder.

Cost more than i wanted to spend but so glad I got it. I’ve only used it for coffee beans and it does a brilliant job. So easy to use. Love the fact you can choose the coarseness of the grind.

I got this as a gift to go with my new coffee machine and I am quite disappointed in it. The “fine” setting is not nearly fine enough to pull a decent shot with an espresso machine. No crema at all from the grounds used from this grinder. I switched to a pre grounded coffee and it was perfect. I would call this more of a blender than anything, could be okay for spices, but definitely not coffee.

The plastic top that locks over top of the grinding bowl is very tight to the point it hurts the wrists locking it in and unlocking it. I hate using it for the pain it causes in my wrists. I thought it was because it was new and needed some ‘wearing in’ time, but a month later it hasn’t changed. It grinds coffee well and is moderately noisy. I will be returning this unit as I will most likely injure myself using it.

It does a good job in grinding the beans, it has a few settings which allows it to be more versatile. No complaints

Bought it for daily spice grinding. My wife love it.

I cannot believe replacement lids are not sold for this model. Dropped mine, and it cracked. If you have a production line making the machine, how can you not make replacement parts? Crazy. Buy from a different manufacturer!

Used it for grounding coffee beans. Need to to do few cycles depending how coarse you want your coffee. It's pretty loud, but I was expecting that. Easy to operate and clean.

Very good grinder. It does Brazil nuts finer than over grinders. The automatic function works very nice. Not needing to keep pressing and holding it down manually. To learn how to use it is very difficult. Finally figured it out that you have to force the lid down hard before turning it into position. If you do not do this it will not work. After my first grinding on the next attempt it would not work. No matter what I did. I was going to return the item but rang Breville first. As I was telling them about the issue I got upset with the grinder which made me push the lid down really hard before twisting it into position. I felt it click then knew it would work. It did. So then was able to tell Breville the problem was solved. So it pays to persevere with it if it stops working. It is a user issue not a product fault....

Very Bad.Tub is very small and motor is not powerful.

This is a perfect coffee grinder as it is compact, simple to operate and clean, gives a quick and perfect grind and it is a reasonable cost.

I bought this exact same grinder as my old one, so I thought. Flimsy, cord did not retract, grinder did not work properly, cheap dial. Nowhere near as good as the last model. I returned it, got a refund and just replaced the lid of my old one which is still going strong.
