Love the look and the soft opening of the kettle. I would have given a 5* but the external body of the kettle is ridiculously hot when boiled.

Overall happy with the kettle.

Great solid kettle with easy to read water levels, and overall sleek look. The only downside is how quickly the base becomes discoloured with use. We do love our tea, so the kettle is frequently on.

Ding ding ding!

I bought this kettle two days ago (black truffle). It looks great, boils water quickly and efficiently, however one major negative is the bell inside the kettle switch. It's supposed to notify you when the kettle has finished boiling by going "ding!" when it flicks off - however it is very, very sensitive to vibrations. Handling the kettle to fill with water or to move it from one surface to another triggers the bell. If you gently shake the kettle, the bell will ding. If you're a fan of Breaking Bad, you can buy this kettle to give you the impression that Hector Salamanca is in the room with you.

Crystal Luxe Kettle

Love my new kettle. Excellent quality and looks great on my benchtop. Love the fact you can see when it needs cleaning and it is easy to clean.
