Breville the PopFan

Noisy computer fan sound. I can hear it from the other side of the house. Very distinctive computer fan sound. I bought a $25 bunnings USB fan that was much quieter.

These fans are great. I have two for myself and have now bought 3 as gifts. Fantastic at work and I also use at home. Economical on power, charge quickly, and work while charging.

Its a good fan and all but I cant clean the blades and it gets really dirty which i hate, wish i could clean the blades.

Originally I was quite happy with this fan. It wasn't as silent as expected but still fairly quiet and also efficient. Now 1 year later I need to clean the fan blade because it is covered in dust and grime and there is no way to open it to clean the blade. The instructions say to use a soft damp cloth on the blade but you can't access it, it's a joke. I'm sure there is a way it can be opened but it's hidden from us for stupid legal reasons.

I love my Pop Fan. I have had it for a while now and it still amazes me how long each charge lasts. I have taken it on trip with me and bring it to work. Its not super quiet but it doesn't bother me and most of the time I only use the lowest setting as it is more than enough. People ask me about it all the time. But, how do you clean the blades if you can't disassemble it? I thought loosening the knob might do it but that didn't work. A brush or a damp cloth will not get through the grill. So what is the Solution please Breville.

This fan is amazing. I bought a second one for our granddaughters room. It is so quiet but effective and runs for ages on battery. So portable and convenient.

Seems like a decent fan, but I find the sound of it whiney and annoying, and not that quiet, even at the lowest speed.

1 Bought this 1 day ago. It says on the box "quiet operation" but is nothing but noisy. Put it by my bedside at night and the humming was too noisy to sleep. My old Desktop fan was never heard at night.

I love this little fan! I got it for my home office which gets a little warm in summer as the aircon struggles to reach there. I leave it on the lowest setting and can comfortably get through a day of work without being hot now. I work in Multisite management and I took it to one of my stores last week whose office is always a sauna. The boys there LOVED the little fan and thought I was genius. One of them went and bought one for his wife’s office at home too. Awesome fan, I can’t wait to take it camping next!

Excellent cooling very quiet fan provides satisfaction

I love this fan, I originally bought this as a desk fan for my study desk, but I’ve also been using it for the kitchen, bedroom etc. Very easy to use, easy to fold up and take with you on holidays etc. Nice and quiet and keeps you cool.

Love this thing, bought to take to work because it's always hot in the office. Battery lasts all day, it's quiet and works well. Everyone comments on it asking where they can get one, well worth the price.

Pretty good but a little loud on high for a desk fan

Love this fan. I bought it to take with me on holiday to a house with no air-conditioning in hot, humid weather. It makes life bearable. I take it from room to room. The battery lasts a long time and recharging is easy. The head is so easy to angle and it us very quiet.

This is a nice small powerful and battery operated fan. The charge is long lasting and the cooling is great. I can hang it on the wall and run it from there or even take it with me on the bus or travel.

Product works great but the build quality can be a lot better for the price. Feels really cheap.

I have gone through a high number of desk fans in my time, and although I hesitated to purchase this product because of the price, I can honestly say that it is without a doubt one of the best small fans I have ever purchased and worth every penny. Light weight, no cords or plugs (which works well in an office environment). Only one drawback, it would be great if they had an indicating light to let you know how much battery life is left and when it is fully charged when charging. Other than that, definitely a great buy.

I've purchased one and am considering getting another. The size isn't 'very' small, but it's definitely compact. It operates quietly with 5-speed modes, and it's lightweight, foldable, and portable. Charging is easy with a type C cable, and if you're using USB Charging Hubs, it saves a socket. While it might not be powerful enough to replace a pedestal fan, it works best as a desk fan.

Great fan worthwhile investment Brought this to replace another bedroom fan that was too noisy and bulky. Small enough to carry it from room to room and last a very long time on battery power. It is a personal fan, so don't expect it to cool a room. Great for desks or by the bed.
