Breville the Smart Kettle (S/Steel)

Now that I work from home I need a new kettle in the office so I bought the same model as in the kitchen. That one has served us well for a lot of years so why change

After almost 20 years weve bought another one. We are tea lovers… no tea bags for us and so the correct temperature make a big difference. Breville and their smart kettle have made it easy for us to enjoy the simple pleasure of a perfect cuppa. (We also have a Oracle coffee maker from Breville…which helps us with our other vice… good coffee)

This is a great Kettle and had to purchase it because it's identical predecessor stopped working.

Works as advertised.

Purchased in 2012 and 13 years later still working perfectly. Used daily. Had some minor connection issues where it would cut out mid boil a few months back but easily fixed with cleaning the connections. The day this dies I'll be buying the same again, but right now I think it will out live me

I am enjoying our new kettle, which looks great. The only criticism I have is that it is quite loud.

First used a smart kettle whilst house sitting for a friend, found the kettle is very quick and has plenty of options if you don’t want full boil…it’s very balanced when you pour no matter if it’s full or only half full…..The best thing of all is …..there is no nasty plastic taste you sometimes get in a new kettle

The kettle is beautiful shape and its quiet when boiling. The clear window up top and the side panel is a nice touch so you can see the water boiling. It's a fantastic purchase.

Iconic Kettle for automatic temperature control for different teas etc. Highly recommended as it has accurate temperature control according to a calibrated thermometer.

It was a good kettle but the lid has cracked, presumably from the heat. Shame no parts are available even though it is a simple lid replacement.

The multi boiling pt & keep warm function is a must have. Be great if it could boil quieter at 100 degrees. The

I originally purchased a Breville Smart Kettle back in 2005. I absolutely loved it and when sadly due to an accident it had the glass strip and lid broken I was devastated but headed straight to the computer to buy another. I use this kettle daily and I love that as an avid tea drinker that I can set it to the correct temperature to whatever tea I like from white, green oolong or black and it doesn't overboil with a temperature that can spoil tea leaves that require a slightly lower temp than required. It has not only a smart switch off but can also be set to remain on "keep warm" with a button. It is well worth the cost.

I first purchased the porotype of this kettle 19 years ago and absolutely loved it so after an unfortunate accident when my original was broken Lid & glass I absolutely had to buy the same again. As I like all types of tea from green, oolong to black this kettle is ideal as you are able to set the tea type to get the perfect temperature for the best flavour. I highly recommend this model for those discerning users.

I have this Smart Kettle since 2014. This is 9 years! And I looove it. Unfortunately after 9 years the lid is becoming lose and randomly pups open mid boiling. Everything else like buttons etc still works perfectly. I came here to buy the exact same one but no colour other than metal is available. Mine is red and I wanted to buy it in Black this time. So, no idea why they don't come in colours like first when the model came out. Any help please?

This is the best kettle I’ve ever owned… Just 1 thing lets it down. The Beeping! The never ending beeping! We solved the problem (there are a lot of YouTube videos) and now it’s silent. Best kettle ever! The fast boil is incredible, the keep warm feature is great for the mornings, and the different temps is good for so many things! I’d happily buy another one, but PLEASE BREVILLE, let us make it quiet without having to break it (even if it’s only a little)

Absolutely love the Breville smart kettle. Looks great and so far very happy with all the functions. I drink a lot of green tea, so I love the option to get the right temperature.

Fantastic product, easy to use. I had the previous model and used it every day for 13 years, the electronics are still working, but the lid recently broke and couldn’t be replaced. Wouldn’t want any other kettle and thus bought the new version, it’s just so reliable and well built! Great customer service too !!!

Seems very good so far. I especially like the feature to allow you to keep the water at a certain temperature. Looks stylish in our humble kitchen

It's quiet than other models and nice design, but it takes a bit longer than other brands to boil.
