Breville the Soft Top® Luxe Kettle (Sea Salt)

Brought the navy blue a few years ago and the colour coating has started coming off - the top rim is now missing all the colour and back to metal which looks poor. The coating flakes drop into the water (which I imagine can’t be good for you!) On the positive side it is a nice kettle to use but poor longevity for the colour coating.

I absolutely love 🤍my Sea Salt Soft Top Luxe kettle! There is nothing I would change after being dissatisfied with every other kettle I’ve purchased for several years! It is stylish, with a stainless steel body and all BPA free components. It boils quickly and quietly and turns off with a ‘ding’. It arrived promptly and safely, and I will definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thank you Breville!

This is my all time favourite kettle. I love the white colour and finishing and it’s easy to use. I like how it is stainless steel inside and not plastic like other kettles

Great design and colour - does what is supposed to.

A little disappointed in this purchase to be honest. Thought I would get a good quality jug for the price. However it is sooo loud the whole house knows when you are boiling it, and it makes tinny sounds when you take it on and off the base.

Sleek design. Looks great!

I have had a Breville kettle for years which I was very happy with so decided to stick with them. Unfortunately I don’t find this kettle as sturdy as my last one. It’s not easy to open, it’s bell tings whenever you replace it on the stand, it starts to boil then sounds like it stops before starting again and it wobbles as it boils. I’m really not sure if it’s supposed to do all this but it does boil water so that’s why it’s staying at the moment.

This is a superior kettle a with press button opening lid for ease of filling with water. Stylish looking with very visible water level. Heats quickly as well. In my opinion it is equal to the more expensive brands

A kettle with style.

We can not stand the noise. I guess it is a very powerful kettle which we didnt need it to be a rapid boiling kettle - we just found the noise level is beyond acceptable for this price range and brand. Had to purchase another one which we bought for our rental investment property and works fine. Loved the colour fitting well in our all white kitchen. It is an elegant looking item.
