Breville Vertuo Pop Nespresso Machine (White)

I got this to replace my Nespresso Pixie. I wish I had kept with the older style machines. The lid jams constantly, I get the red light frequently when loading the capsules as the lid won't close properly. You can't get a tall coffee cup under it (after removing the stand). It's very noisy and the mechanism that flicks the used capsules to the bin part stopped working ages ago. There is only really one flavour I like and you can't buy the pods in the shops. I do not recommend.

I’m onto my second Vertuo machine. Both have had significant leaking and other problems. I note from Internet; many people have had similar problems. The first machine limped past warranty. I purchased another machine in April 2026. Again I have had problems. The machines were serviced in terms of Nespresso guidelines. They only ever had filtered water. Average use is light, approximately five cups per week. Nespresso has offered to replace the current machine. Based on experience, I’ll likely have further frustration. Finally, I’ve worked out that life is better going back to the reliable stove top percolator.

Lasted about 9 months before it stopped working properly. Got to the point I had to turn the power off 4 times to make a coffee. Returned under warranty and literally worse since it came back. Don’t waste your money! I have hundreds of pods I can’t use, brilliant.

Great machine and so easy to use. Nespresso has a range of cartridges and flavours to suit.

I can't say that I am especially happy with this coffee machine, maybe it is because it is so different to the other machine I had and it might be just a matter of getting used to it. We'll see.

I bought this machine after many years of using nespresso original machines. At first it was great but about 2 months in it stopped working correctly & so I returned it & was sent back for repair. After repair we used it once & the same issue occurred again after 1 use, its so frustrating but I will be returning to the original machines again.

We continued to have difficulties with this machine. It simply wouldn’t function properly. After many attempts of it not working and coffee pods used we decided to return it. We have now moved from Nespresso machines. Do not buy this product.

Super easy to maintain and clean, and the coffee tastes consistently great. The pods are fantastic, with plenty of flavour/coffee strength options to choose from. Overall, a really convenient and enjoyable machine to use every day! only thing to keep in mind- pods can only be purchased at nespresso or online.

I like the original machine better. I now have both. This Vertuo machine is cumbersome. I bought it because it was pink and sometimes Nespresso comes out with flavours I want to try only in Vertuo. This machine has produced watery coffee. And it is huge and a little ugly for my tastes. I have put it away in the cupboard until there is something I want to try. I will say that I am sure it makes awesome iced coffee as the large pods produce a lot of liquid compared to the original.

I love my new vertuo pop in candy pink. Easy to use. The only problem with have is it only fits a mug under the outlet it does not fit my Nespresso mug. Otherwise it’s great

Used it three times and it's flashing red. Possible blockage. Still investigating. Not a patch on my old Vertuo Plus which ran for a good few years without fault.

Before you buy this product, a warning- You can't buy pods for this machine in Supermarkets!!! And you cannot fit a normal mug, have to buy specific size cup ( a small one). Then I've noticed after few days of using it, leaking coffee residual under the machine.

I didn't know anything about nespresso but decided to buy one after seeing coffee pods being sold everywhere. Turns out, all of those pods are from the old system that no longer has a patent on it. This is the new system and the only pods you can buy are the ones sold directly by nespresso. Moreover, every pod has a bar code to make sure you don't cheat. I wouldn't have bought this even if it was free c:

I bought this machine a while ago. I like a quick shot of coffee, add milk or what not after. I tried a few pod sizes and strengths. The machine only copes with one shot. Larger pods and the creme is more than the actual coffee. Terrible cold coffee froth. I wouldn't recommend. Coffee flavours are standard and pods are exclusive. Not worth it.

I bought this machine last month. I'm not all that thrilled with it. I bought it thinking it would be nice to have a mug of decaf, but this turned out to be half a mug of FLUFF (!) I do not want a mug/cup of fluff it's COFFEE that I want! Also the pod holder quarter fills with water and if I don't dry this with a tissue before putting the pod in, the machine floods - coffee all over the bench.

I didn't think this nespresso machine would be good from its price but have used it and it makes good coffees in a convenient way and the pods are great you get 30 free but worth buying extra from nespresso, the best option is to have original nespresso machine as well for the milk wand with creatista uno as well

Really noisy. Horrible to open and close. Less than a year old and I get the double red flash error and it grinds to a halt half the time used. Don't like the foam texture either. Maybe the other vertuo models are better but I already replaced it with one of the original models. Stuck on a machine subscription for this one 3 more months.

Bought this a week ago as they were marked down Worst machine i have ever had constant issues since purchased a week ago over heats every time i make a coffee have contacted Nespresso technician support they have tried to trouble shoot they suggested to take this back to JB Hifi for a refund, which i am doing today. Will be purchasing another Nespresso though just not this one again

I have had it for 2 years now and never once regretted buying it. Best and efficient.

Bought this machine in April 2024, which broke down in four months. Got a replacement machine which also stopped working in 5 months. Now I am getting another replacement. I offered paying additional money to get a better model but apparently it’s not possible as there is no option to do so in the system. I have been using nespresso for many years and this machine has been the worst experience so far, so much time wasted.

I have had this for about a month now and it’s excellent, it’s exactly what I wanted, it’s a small cute machine that makes a lovely coffee and all the pod sizes fit which is such a great feature.

Don’t buy it. It’s hard and clunky to open and close. Cannot make a coffee in a taller cup. The holder for used pods is small. Very disappointed. I bought in a bundle. Byers remorse.

Constant errors, following which you have to turn it off and on again, discard the pod it wasted and add a new pod. Nothing obviously wrong, the machine just thinks the pod is seated incorrectly, which it isn't, but the machine only decides that after perforating the pod. You can't reuse wasted pods or you'll end up with grinds in your coffee. The entire machine also has a cheap feel.

Compact and efficient, this is perfect for the caravan. Love the simplicity of these machines while producing top notch coffee with the press of a button.

A good little machine. Quite loud & the mechanics of locking the capsule holder is quite clunky though.

Great unit. It's the number FIVE Nespresso Machine—yes, it's number five—and it gets to travel in the truck to all sorts of places. It operates off a Bluetti genset and works as every good little coffee machine should. It is paired with a little white Nespresso unit that uses the "original pods." The Vertuo is popular, and the team like the 80ml pods. Depending on the day, the bigger pods also get a run. The Nespresso units are all easy... we do our best to keep them clean - Friday is rinse/soak and get them ready for the next week. Vertuo Pods - it would be good if we could get them everywhere... A couple of hundred pods take up a bit of room when on the road - and we only fill up again if we are near our office...

I couldn't decide between 2 or 2 stars, so went the generous side. 12 months (almost to the day), and I'm just on my 3rd machine. The first one leaked after about 3 weeks, while the 2nd one decided to suddenly just spit and splutter out about 10-20ml of very sludge coffee. It is a little noisy for such a small baby, and it's inconvenient to find a box to send back, but still reasonably happy, as long as Nespresso is happy to replace a faulty machine.
