Brut Original Deodorant Stick 50g

I have bought this item for many years, and have remained patient, before feeling the need to write this review. Not only have Brut greatly reduced the size of this item, but now you can't access 20% of it due to the extremely poor quality of the item itself. I am strongly considering collecting up all such items and seeking a refund for the portion of deodorant that can't be used, in each and every single item purchased.

I have all ways used the deodorant stick, I consider the sprays rubbish. Problem i have is finding the stores that stock them. There appears to be a push for the sprays that are a waist of a product in my opinion.

I have been using Brut deodorant stick for many years and have always found it ideal until the recent change from 75g to 50g. The smaller amount now makes it much more expensive. Not only that, the threaded rod to extended the stick in the new packaging is not long enough to use the final 25% of the stick - about 1/4 of the stick is almost unusable! I am most disappointed that this once great product has become expensive and wasteful.

I love this product and have used it for years. I know all about shrinkflation - I'm not happy about it, but I can live with it. What I can't live with is the deliberate use of bad packaging designed seemingly to prevent one using all of the now much-reduced quantity of product! It's hard enough to buy stick deodorant of this type nowadays without being forced to deal with bad package design. 😕

We always buy the Brut deodorant stick. Not only does it work well, it is not sticky and there are no allergic reactions such as you can get with products containing aluminium.

I have been using this product since my early 20s (30yrs) and never had an adverse reaction, loved the product and wouldn't use any other brand. The last lot I bought has caused a massive rash under both my arms. I have spoken to other avid users and they have experienced the same reaction. I see the ingredients are the same except for "with Rosemary extract". Why change a winning formula.

Bought a new package style brut stick deodorant…. And could not get the product to wind up and out consistently almost to the point of throwing it away. So frustrated until I figured out to squeeze both sides while winding the product up and out, now it works everytime, might just have been my batch but try squeezing the sides before you throw it out team.

I have used this product for many years. When the packaging shrunk, I was peeved but stayed with it. I assumed the short adjusting screw was a packaging error and would be sorted in the next batch. I now realise this must be intentional to sell 50g but only 40g is available and I find that unacceptable. I haven't actually weighed it, maybe you're packaging 60g to make up for the inaccessibility of the last bit. Lots more important problems in the world I know, I hope the screw is not intentional. I've been using your deodorant for years, love the product and previously recommended it to mates... but since this new poor packaging design, I've started using other brands. The packaging is so poorly designed I had to jump on here and let you know. 60% of the deodorant is still attached to the base and then it all comes apart - lots of wastage! I had bought 2, as always and both had the same issue, but never again unless packing is improved or returned to previous pack. I'm really big on wastage and I don't see the point of purchasing something that only lasts a week and a half and then it all falls apart, really disappointing.

Have used this product for over 15 years, with the shrinkflation the packaging now barely holds any product, is a smaller footprint and very quickly scratches your armpits on application. The remainder of the deodorant stays behind in the holster, so in reality it is more like 40gm usable product. When i noticed smaller tube being stocked i bought 75g in bulk, that supply has now exhausted. Goodbye old friend, the scent of capitalism.
