Great starter camera! Recommend getting the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Prime Lens for this camera.
I received this camera for my 21st birthday after mention a new hobby. After 6 years, this camera has been to birthdays, weddings, holidays, road trips, and a competition here and there. It’s helped me express my art and is always reliable 100%, I’m not even joking. If you want to get into photography, this is the one for you.
Best cameras on the market😄 though some lenses don’t feel like they have a good range. Canon stuff lasts forever though, it doesn’t go out of style/use like old phones
I brought the canon 1500D less than a year ago and has boosted my photography passion and my confidence as I start my career in photography.
This camera was gifted to me when I was 16. I am now 22 and am about to pass it down to my sister. It has been through almost every stage of my adolescence with me, and was the cornerstone of me becoming and equine event photographer. It's durability and reliability gave me the perfect starting block to jump off into the world of photography with.
It’s been about a month since I purchased this camera and I must say it’s been an amazing experience. For someone who was clicking with a camera for the first time, it was helpful as the camera tells you what each mode is. I’ve always clicked photos on my phone but realised the camera experience is different. Learn a little about photography on a camera and you’ll be at a great start with this camera.I can’t wait to completely explore this camera to it’s fullest potential and purchase more lenses and learn further.
I bought this camera as my very first one to start photography and it was better then I initially thought it was
I got this camera a while ago for my birthday and love it. It came with a 18-55mm lens, which is great for getting a feel for what you're doing and learning what sort of thing you actually want to do.
I got this few months back with a course i started and use it to learn off it has some great features like the nfc i love how easy it is to connect to my phone and import photos to edit within seconds also can use thw feature to take shots using your phone like a remote.
I got the 1500d when it was first released just for a trip abroad but because of this camera I have grown a passion for photography since buying it I have since captured some of the best photos I've taken, I've gotten unto a career that allows me to think creatively and I've learnt new skills. To anyone interested in upgrading from a phone camera the 1500D is possibly the best option.
I got this Camera ten months ago as part of my professional photography course. Great for learning the basic settings in different situations. E.g Night, sport, street, portrait, product photography etc. Learning to use the camera in different scenarios has helped me to have a good understanding using the DSLR 1500D in manual mode.
This is the first 'proper' camera I ever got and it's been such a reliable piece of technology. I've had a few other cameras that have broken pretty quickly and after almost 10 years, mine is still working great and taking awesome photos!
I bought this over 2 years ago for my birthday and it has worked SO good but now its limiting me so im upgrading but it does a amazing job but some issues are the screen not being able to tilt and the video on this camera but its a budget beginner camera.
I upgraded to this camera from the EOS 400D and I love it! The features this camera has is amazing. Such an easy camera to use and still learn so much on it. I love when flicking through the camera settings it gives you little tips on what each setting is used for. Will never change from canon! I typically pair this camera with a 18-55mm lens but also have an ultrasonic 17-85mm and 70-300mm lens I like to use when shooting for those certain photos.
I bought this about 3 months ago to help with my sports photography and live-streaming services and it has been a godsend. While it is not expensive it still provides the quality I need in a sleek compact build. I’m happy they keep these cameras at a low price, so we(the consumer) can afford them.
I brought this camera as a beginner and absolutely love it.
This camera is a brilliant entry level DLSR. I used it in my first year of my University Fine Art degree, capturing many great artworks.
I have used this camera when I’ve wanted to do digital photography and it is seriously so perfect for what I need! Sure I’m not a fan of the autofocus and sometimes the needed camera settings confuse me but it’s still so good!
i got this for my birthday many years ago and it still acts brand new! i have had so much fun learning photography with it taking from holiday to holiday and taking to my sisters footy games! ive brought different lenses to experiment with and can’t wait to upgrade it in the future
This was the first camera I bought for myself as a little present back in December of last year. And after taking my first overseas trip and using my Dad’s Canon Mark II G7X, I just fell in love with photography and wanted to start taking it more seriously. The remarkable quality in each image, the stabilisation on the 55-250mm is super clutch, though it has the more bulky feel for a camera, the handle and shape still feels comfortable and easy to manage. As I also love to make films, this camera provides good 1080p full quality (though I’d love to go for a mirrorless one day for a high quality in videography). The only ‘problems’ I would say so far is the actual auto focus on the 18-55mm lens isn’t the greatest, the iso does leave quite a lot of grain for this camera, and the (to sounds uptight) ease of a touch screen would make the world a difference, hence a long future upgrade will benefit greatly. Overall, I’ve had a wonderful time with this camera, getting to learn the basics and really understand the ways of the camera.
I bought this as an entry level camera and was not disappointed! Very nice feel and high quality pictures. Very easy to use for beginners
I bought this camera to take my son to the UK and took many photos of his football team these photos were use by the officials as promotional content for future training camps
I’ve been using this camera for awhile now and I’ve found it to be great for a little bit of everything! Great and easy to use for beginners getting into photography and professionals too. I love the stability and quality of the product, it reminds me of my first camera the 550D. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Took this camera to bluff knoel in WA Australia and dropped it before we started our hike in the small snow that had fallen and it still worked and took some amazing snaps at the top
Just tried in store. Didn’t buy as i was thinking to buy on my birthday.
I have had my camera for a while now and absolutely can not fault it. It is a great beginner camera and has great auto settings but manual options are limited. The video component is not great quality but overall the different auto camera settings are good.
I bought this camera some years ago and it has served as a great entry level camera.
This camera takes all our important photos and captures the crucial moments such as birthday parties and 1st day of school that we wouldn't risk with a phone camera. Equally good out in the environment taking nature and fungi pics
So easy to use, feels very comfortable, takes great shots!
Love it use it everyday great camera not heavy very light to use
I'm a complete novice; yet finding it fairly easy to navigate and get some great shots... shout out to Photo Genius on YouTube for the tutorials on this camera!
I got this for my 11th birthday and it’s not to heavy or hard to learn to take photos it’s great for a beginner I would recommend it to you
