Carefree Liners Breathable Unscented 48 pack

I have always used Carefree pads and I had trust in this brand until I came across this product, which shocked me for its poor quality and made me disappointed with the brand. It is not individually wrapped, which is not hygienic, and it is not at all convenient to carry. What disappointed me the most is that when I peel it off, it leaves a sticky residue on the underwear, which is hard to get rid of. I should have read these reviews before purchasing, and I would never purchase this product again and would reconsider purchasing from this brand again.

The glue that is used to stick onto underwear is messy and gets stuck to fingers and surface areas. I've tried several packets now with the same result and have changed brands after years of using Carefree.

Have been using this product for about 30 years and never had any issues with the panty liners. Recently bought two packs and was shocked to see what they have become. There is no way you can use these. It is as though they have forgotten to attach the main padding and you just have a paper thin piece of adhesive type tape and ever so small and crumple up. Impossible to ever use. In the photo on left a normal panty liner next to it is what you get.

I don't know whether it's the material itself or the thinness of the liners but it's really irritable on my intimate areas. I'm more prone to vaginal infections or signs of infections (e. g. thick discharge, itchiness) after wearing carefree liners. I don't get itchy with other brands which generally produce are thicker, cushier lines made of real cotton. Not sure whether carefree incorporates plastic into the intimate side the liners or just not enough cotton to make their liners 'thinner' and more 'breathable' but it just makes the liner look and feel cheap. More investment into better quality material & thicker cotton use needed.

I have been using carefree breathable products for decades and have been very, very happy with this range. However, the past few months I have noticed the liners are lighter and thinner to the point they scratched up/creased as they day progress. Also noticed they are no longer breathable and my hygiene routine has not changed nor the fact I wear natural fibre underwear. I am sorry to say I am disappointed and very unlikely to buy them in the future.

I tried these as part of a test. Received the product a little late. The liners are a game changer. Post monthly menstruation cycle especially the discharge is a bit more frequent and these helped not having to deal with the uneasy feeling of being in wet undies. I also used them with tampons. No complains.

Very light weight and great for lighter days. very discreet so easy to have in any bag.

Overall this product does what it says it does. Although I did find the adhesive a little finicky at the edges on the top and bottom, sometimes it tore or was difficult to peel and stuck onto itself. I do prefer individually wrapped liners so I can take them with me on the go but these are good to have at home. They are definitely only for lighter days, I have had it leak through once before. If you're after basic liners for a very light flow then these will do the job. Would be brilliant if it came in a smaller pack that you can take travelling with.

These liners are absorbent and keep me feeling fresh and dry throughout the day. However, they do tend to crumple up a bit as they don't have wings, but that's typical for most liners.
