Cetaphil Pro Acne Prone Oil Control Foam Wash 236mL

I am not normally one to review, but I couldn't find any reviews mentioning irritation with this cleanser, so I thought I should warn others with sensitive skin. I have used this cleanser for two days, morning and night, with nothing else new in my routine and have had burning, irritation and redness ever since. I have extremely oily, acne-prone skin but am also on the sensitive side. Not ridiculously sensitive, but occasionally a product sets me off, and this one definitely did. If you have sensitive skin, this may still work for you, as the reviews are very positive online, but for me it was the worst reaction I've had to anything in years. I would be interested to see whether the ingredients are truly sensitive-skin-friendly; I also don't see how this could be hypoallergenic.

This foaming wash has given my skin a great soft after touch, i love the consistency and formula. Its not too thick and liquidy. Its great lightweight and easy to pump bottle. It has a slight scent just enough to linger but not strong.

I've recently started using the Cetaphil PRO Acne Prone Oil Control Foam Wash and my first impressions are very positive. The foam is light and easy to spread, creating a nice lather that rinses away cleanly without leaving residue. My skin feels fresh and less oily after cleansing, and it doesn't leave my face with that tight or uncomfortable feeling that some cleansers give. The pump bottle is also practical and really easy to use. Ive found that my breakouts have calmed down significantly and are less inflamed and/or less frequent compared to how they were before and this has only been in the few short weeks that I have been able to sample this product. I would very much recommend this product and I'm looking forward to seeing the more long-term results, but so far it's definitely been a pleasant addition to my skincare routine.

The PRO Acne Prone Oil Control Foam Wash has been a pleasant surprise for me as someone who has extremely sensitive skin. Typically introducing new products into my routine will cause burning and breakouts, but thankfully I haven’t observed this. In saying this, I also haven’t seen any improvement in my active breakouts yet, but hopefully they’ll start to improve over time. The cleanser is a nice airy foam which washes off easily. It’s gentle and non-stripping, leaving my face feeling clean after use, without feeling tight or dry.

Such an amazing cleanser and i have always been so picky with any type of skincare. It makes my skin so smooth and glowy but also makes me feel like it is perfectly clean and fresh. I love Cetaphil.

I was gifted the Cetaphil PRO Acne Prone Oil Control Foam Wash in exchange for my honest review. The product comes in a large pump pack that dispenses a small amount of thin foam. Two pumps was enough to cover my face. I liked the feel of the cleanser against my combination skin. It didn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry. The floral fragrance was quite strong for my tastes, so I would have preferred a fragrance-free option. While I liked this face wash, I did still have some blemishes during the time I was using it, requiring me to use pimple patches to stop them from getting bigger. Overall, it was a good foam wash, and I will continue to use it, but probably opt for a more effective product such as Benzac AC in future.

I’ve tried other oily skin cetaphil face washes previously on my late 30s combination oily skin and I’ve always found them to be stripping and leaving a dried out “clean” feeling on my skin. The normal version felt like it didn’t cleanse enough. This particular wash is the great balance where it felt gentle post wash and also felt clean. I was surprised the foam instead of liquid consistency was effective as well. I would recommend this as a drugstore option to try for combo oily skin.

The pump makes it really easy to use this product and apply all over face. Smells nice and works effectively at removing makeup without irritating the skin

Have added this product to my skincare routine. I love the application in foam form and the dispenser which makes it super easy to use. I feel my skin feels really clean after use however I’m unsure it may be drying on my skin type. I’m saying that my skin looks clear and feels really clean after using. Smells nice. Will continue to use to hopefully clear my breakouts

Overall I found the Cetaphil acne probe oil control foam wash really good it was easy to use the residue was bare minimum which is perfect and left my face feeling great. I didn’t have any further breakouts for at least 3 days.
