Directions for use:
Brush thoroughly at least twice a day or as directed by your dental professional. Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water. Not recommended for children 6 years or less. Colgate recommends specially formulated Colgate children's toothpaste. Up to 12 hours of protection against bacteria with 4-weeks continuous use.

Causes mouth ulcers very bad

Please discontinue selling this product.It caused my gums to swell, my inner lips sore and I had ulcers underneath my gums. This should be discontinued.I bought a pack of 3 and I will just throw them away.

Avoid!! Caused mouth damage

I bought this toothpaste and after one use I got incredibly inflamed taste buds which have continued to recur repeatedly for the next month after ceasing use nearly immediately

Don’t use it !

I used this for a week. It was good initially and only some tingling from the mint, but then I developed this terrible reaction on my inner lips…. They should remove it from the market… don’t recommend using it

Microplastics

Disappointed to buy this toothpaste and see it is full of little blue pieces of plastic. Rebranding microplastics to "microparticles" does not get rid of their impact to human and environmental health. Microplastics have been linked to heart disease, hormone disruption and pollution of the environment. I will not be using the rest of this tube because I don't want a mouth full of microplastics.

Mouth ulcers and numbness on using the toothpaste

I bought Colgate total recently and started having a bad taste in the mouth after using it. It progressed to numbness and weird mouth feel over gradual use. My teenager who also used it got really bad mouth ulcers and couldn't eat solid foods as a result. We stopped using it and the ulcers and mouth feel got better. Tried the toothpaste again after everything got healed, and the side effects returned. I have been a loyal Colgate customer for more than 40 years, now I don't trust the brand anymore. Hope someone takes serious action to fix these issues.

New formula is unbearably minty and I'm suffering from a sore irritated mouth.

I have used Colgate Total Advanced Clean for several years and it was great. This new Colgate Total Deep Clean formula has replaced it. I have used the new formulation for the past couple of months. The intensity of the mint in the new toothpaste becomes unbearable while brushing and I am now suffering from a sore mouth with irritation along the gums and inner lips. How was this formula tested? I have more that I've bought that we cant use. Not happy. Do NOT recommend.

Avoid this toothpaste!!

I've been using this toothpaste for 4 days and now my gums are inflamed. I've used colgate total products for over 10 years and now this has happened. Horrible experience

New formula is terrible

I have been using Colgate total for many years after being recommended by a dentist. This new formula tastes disgusting and within half an hour, my mouth did not feel fresh at all. My teeth did not feel clean either by the afternoon. This wasn't the case with the original formula, which seemed keep your teeth feeling clean all day and your mouth tasted clean for quite some time after brushing. Disappointing.

Used 3 tube and now my teeth is translucent!

At first, it was good to use as it really clean my teeth and give long protection. But didn't realize it worn my enamel over time. It feels clean and fresh but now I'm showing sign of worn out enamel. Didn't expect it to clean that much!
