Colour Strong 5.0 Medium Brown

I bought this. It's a great price point and so easy to use. Coverage is great and the colour is luminous leaving a great shine to my hair. Would recommend.

Pros: non-drip, easy application, colour that lasts and is beautiful and shiny, doesn't dry out hair, grey coverage that lasts, no ammonia, no smell, and gloves that fit Australian women's large hands!! I use this on already lightened blonde 9 level hair. The results are nowhere near the shade as on the packet. I followed the instructions to the letter. Watched it like a hawk to make sure it didn’t over process. Didn’t work whatsoever: no Ash or beige in my hair 😂

This is the best home dye that I have ever used! I have natural dark brown hair and this was great, not too dark but covered my grey hairs (I have a lot!). It looked natural and blended into my dark brown hair. My hair looked soft and smooth after. The only slight negative is that it stained my skin but I have found that with most other dyes and it was easy to scrub off. The smell was fine and not overpowering and the instructions were easy to follow. I would recommend this to someone looking for an easy hair dye and I would continue to use it.

I colour my hair regularly but this is the first time I've used Clairol and the Clairol ColourStrong. I'm so impressed with the outcome. I have medium to long hair and the ends we're getting a little dry. But after colouring my hair, the dry ends we're less noticeable. My hair looked so much shinier and healthier. The colour was great too and the was a decent amount of product in the bottle. There wasn't a strong smell too the dye like some of these other brands I've used, only a slight henna scent. I love that it also is vegan and most importantly no ammonia. I will definitely be using Clairol ColourStrong from now on.

I recently tried this Ammonia free permanent black hair colour. The application process waa smooth and easy.The procuct comes with clear instructions, which made the process user friendly. The colur turned out beautifully vibrant,deep black shade that looked natural and shiny. I have slighlty sensitive skin and after using i didnt experience usual irritation or burning senssation on my scalp. The formula felt nourishing an dhair were soft and healthy post- application. Overall , I am really happy with this product. Its a great option for anyone looking for a more genlt alternative to traditional hair colours. It has milder smell, making overall experience more pleasant.

I have not used home hair dye in a very long time so was curious to see how I would go with Clairol ColourStrong and I am now questioning why I didn’t try this earlier. The dye works in 3 steps, a primer, the actual dye and then a bonding treatment. I initially found this a little intimidating as was worried I’d mess up timing or do something in the wrong order. It couldn’t have been easier with easy to read clear instructions and labelled items. The primer sachet was straightforward and the applicator bottle was really easy to use. I successfully managed to only get dye where I intended, which was a great relief after previous dye mishaps from years ago. I was also a fan of the bonding treatment and will definitely be using the leftovers next time I wash my hair. I did question who the gloves in the box were modelled on as the fingers were very snug whilst the hand was very roomy. I did manage to get dye on my fingers but this was easily washed off. My hair came out soft, shiny and best of all, evenly dyed which was a huge win for me!!!
