Does not work properly

Purchased one in December so far has been terrible for gaming and typing, while not unusable it frequently double presses and often does not register inputs I have tried updating the firmware with no luck. Everything else is great but I cannot overlook the issues as it affects daily workflow. Eg. Typing in passwords is incredibly difficult.

Two from two keyboards with a basiic fault

This is a second post, following up from my initial review which was a 3 sstar review. I had my oriiginal keyboard replaced due to the ongoing double-typing issue I mentioned. At first this replacement seemed to be working a treat, but shortly thereafter the doubling typing issue came up on the replacementt. I have gone through Corsair's recommended fixes aagain, which includes resetting the keyboard firmware and trying different USB ports on my pc. Sadly, the issue keeps returning. I am 2 from 2 keybaords that have this double-ttyping issue. II do not have this issue with the other two keyboards that I own and have used on my pc, one of which is an older Corsair model. I asked the JB staff iif anyone else had retturned the productt or reportted the same issue, but they said they hadn't heard of any. I must be very unlucky. I am going to refund this productt.

Feels and looks great, but...

First immpressions are great. Simplistic, clean deeesign. The sound from the keys when typing is greatly reduced compared to my other mechanical keyboards, even muffled. The first, major flaw is that typing can produce double key presses. I already had some in the first line of my review, which I left in place to illustrate the problem. Having to correct these double key strokes is annoying and adds to the time it takes me to complete work. It can also be problematic when gaming, as unwanted key strokes can lose matches. Corsair is using their own switches in this keyboard, and it looks like the reliability is not up to the Cherry MX standard. Also not great is the simple, unremovable cable which is only thinly plastic coated. This is the type of cable that can be easily damaged if you aren't careful. This keyboard is on the cheaper side compared to other mechanical boards from a reputable brand like Corsair, but it isn't so cheap that they couldn't have provided a more robust braided cable. I intend to have this keyboard either repaired or replaced. I will only return it if the issue occurs with whatever replacement I receive, because it has a lot going for it.
