Great pastry

Crusty Bake Loose Base Round Flan/Quiche Pan

I can't recommend this pan enough. I've certainly tried a few in my 70 years! The holes in the base enable even distribution of heat, allowing the pie or quiche to cook evenly and avoid a soggy base. The fact that the base removes separately, enables the pie/quiche to be lifted cleanly from the dish avoiding damaging the side crust which comes out beautifully fluted. Absolutely no sticking of pastry to the pan, with very easy clean up. It may be a bit more expensive, but worth every cent. You will not be disappointed.
