Cygnett Dashview Flex Car Mount

Worked well for a few months but then the ball joint became too loose to the point my phone was going upside down or leaning on horizontally on the dash. Suction is really good and holds well on the windscreen but ball joint really lets it down. Have tried to place other ball joints in it but this particular one is too small for the others to fit.

Rubbish - the end snapped off the first one we bought. Tried it again, the suction just stopped working after a few months

Was really good for about 6 months before the top of the piping where it seals to the windscreen came loose and now my phone jiggles at every small bump and won't stay in place. It still technically works but it's definitely broken and isn't good for long drives anymore.

These dash mounts have come a long way. Gone are the days when they would sag or just randomly loose suction. I bought this mount for the Excavator at work. The machine constantly bounces around all day, and this mount has not sagged or fallen off my window once. I have had my phone fall out a couple of times from the grip, but that's been when I've really been bouncing around in the machine. For normal use, this thing is impeccable. You can bend it in any direction and it stays exactly where you want it. Highly recommended.

Originally wanted a vent mount magnetic holder but none fit the vents in my car. So glad, because this is way better.

Not highly recommended for long term use. Bought it to use for a few days before my Carpuride arrives. Sadly, it already slowly bent just by putting my phone on it.

Good solid mount, stays attached to the windscreen unlike some others

Works great until it doesn’t. Second one. Won’t buy another. The arm mount always fails in the joint where it meets the window suction cup. I suspect it was designed before the heavier and larger phones came out. It never lasts more than 12-14 months. Do not consider.

It perfect I can turn it and adjust it to better suit my view and needs

I use an iPhone 13. I have purchased two of these now and they have both failed. the flex gives out and the connection breaks, and often falls off the windscreen. find another product

Quality and durability- Higher quality design & materials than cheap ones

This broke within a week of buying it. The spring section came out and would not re-seat the same way no matter what I did.

My phone always falls out when I am driving along and scares me. The holder also drops a lot with the weight of my phone. Just an iPhone 13

Outstanding value, great build quality and amazing product

I live in North Queensland and this phone holder was awesome until it started to fall apart at the join for the phone attachment after about 5-6 months. My only conclusion is due to the hot weather, although it was repositioned a few times, surely no more than the expected amount of use. Will be requesting a replacement however I expect to be replacing this every 6 months… I still recommend it for its easy function. I use an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Just another overpriced bit of plastic from China that is soon to be landfill. Stopped being able to tighten it properly after a few months, then it snapped completely. Poor quality plastic that won't last. Now I'll have to hassle the store for a refund.

Easy to use. Does it's job. That's all I needed. Wish it was longer though.

this isn't a bad little mount. it holds my samsung A53 nice and securely and makes driving around using my google maps very nice and easy

This is an awesome product, though it vibrates a little too much. It would be far better if it had a simple stabilising arm. But for the price very good.

The concept is good in that the holder brings your phone close to you which means no leaning forward to reach the phone when required. The problem is that the long extension means the phone shakes around a lot with bumpy roads and the maps or whatever you are using is blurry and hard to see. Not a bad holder overall, but the blurriness negates the benefits of having the phone brought close to you. I also think that it is priced about double what it is worth, considering its issues.

Ball joint is always loose, this is third one I've got and they are all the same?

Length of flexible stalk allowed me to position it fairly well, though I would have liked a bit more ability to adjust the angle of the cradle. The design of the cradle holds well, is easy to insert my phone into, and avoids pressing the volume buttons. (Pixel 5)

Arm is not stable on the road so phone shakes too much

Sturdy and small enough that it doesn’t obstruct your field of vision. Hardly shakes while driving. Easy spring design to hold different kinds of phones. It’s great!

Was a bit nervous of the cable not being strong enough, but its really stiff and stays in its place even in the heat! Really good quick and easy phone clamp too

Sticks well to the windscreen. My windscreen slopes and is quite far away. That’s why I bought this Cygnet one. Very Happy.

Perfect for my needs. Bendable, twistable arm allows positioning any way you like. Non intrusive, small enough to be ignored while driving, big enough to hold the biggest phone on the market today. Easy to attach/detach. Strong suction cup stays on on any temperature in your vehicle. Great price too. I recommend this product.

Broke apart within a month, repaired it myself but pretty flimsy design, probably why it’s so cheap. Wouldn’t buy again.
