Put my phone in once and the ratchet locking the phone in broke immediately same issue as many other reviews. Opened it up to see if I could fix and what I found is this is guaranteed this will break everytime, the mechanics are paper thin plastic

Waste of Money. Literally melting and messing up your windshield.

Unfortunately the adhesive completely melts in the sun rendering the otherwise sturdy stand useless. It leaves a pretty nasty residue as well, very thick and difficult to clean. I was curious if this was a particularly poor adhesive or if window phone mounts are just a bad idea in the aussie sun. Seems like there are definitely other options with more industrial adhesives that will work better. Worth looking into!

Terrible, slides down glass leaving a small icky mess

Side arm lost grip. Also the base keeps sliding down. Glue is very hard to get off windscreen as per other reviews. Disappointed.

Recently purchased this, absolutely no good, going into the bin. Won’t stay as figured, clumsy to remove phone, and the final, it slid down the screen from heat in the sun.

The suction cup gel is too soft and melts under the Sun , probably the black color of it doesn't help aswell. the fact that this rubbish get to the shelf of a shop it is concerning JB hi/fi. I want my money Back.

Bought this less than 6 months ago and regretting it now. These hot summer days we've had seemed to make the glue consider its poor life choices and so the holder slowly started sliding down my windscreen before eventually falling off. Took me a couple hours to completely remove this gooey gunk trail with lots of soaking, scrubbing and high strength glass cleaner. DON'T buy this piece of crap. Get an air vent mount or some other attachment to your dash. I've got an air vent mount in my work Ute and that thing has been going strong for 3 years. I should've just grabbed another one of those instead of this piece of disappointment.

A lot of vibration is transferred to the phone. Suction cup is good, no drops. Adjustable enough. It just shakes like a Chihuahua with anxiety

Just bought it 6 months ago, now the glue melt in heat and doesn't stay in its place. And also the locking mechanism broke and my phone keep falling while driving. Don't buy it u will 100percent regret it.

I’m afraid I’ve had the same problems as the other reviewers. Had the item for about 4-5 months and it worked pretty well. But then the grip started to fail and my phone kept falling out. And recently the sticky glue suction pad failed in hot weather and the holder now simply falls off leaving a sticky imprint in the windscreen. Promised much, but didn’t deliver.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The sticky, suction cups melt when it's sunny and the phone holder then droops sideways and has ruined my windscreen. They sticky goo is really hard to clean off. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

Was great, until it wasn’t. Used it about 10-20 times in my classic car that rarely gets driven. Went to use it today and it no longer locks the phone in place.

It worked as intended but soon the side handles began to fail. After 6 months it doesn't work at all. Poor quality.

The side clips that hold the phone kept getting stuck and eventually stopped working altogether after a month.

Same as Brian, Piece of junk, second 1 didn't even last 2 weeks

Works well, has met my needs by holding my phone securely.

Bought one in Dec '23. Replaced at JB Feb '24 Broken again April '24, same problem. The side clips that click together stopped working after a couple of months. stopped clicking on closing and springs back open rendering it unable to clasp the phone. lost the receipt so looked inside. Plastic tooth broken off. Don't buy - piece of junk
